So fun! Ever walk a dog while taking garbage out and holding an umbrella or carrying groceries in while closing the car door while holding an umbrella all in the rain? This hat gives you an option to not hold that umbrella and still be dry! It’s a little light weight against heavy winds I found but I just tipped my head against the wind and it was fine! Great for camping! I felt a little silly wearing it to be honest but I’m quirky so I don’t care! Also using as sun protection, it’s great for that. This one is 37” inches in diameter and protects me completely. I also bought the smaller 24” inches ones just for sun protection as well on less windy days. It’s sturdy and pretty good quality. The ribs are sturdy. It’s light weight and doesn’t cause any discomfort on my head. Not sure about the cooling effect yet as I’ve really just worn it in the rain so far, but hoping for some sunshine to try that out.

It works perfectly. I bought it to go hiking with my baby and the covers is pretty well The sun. We loved it.

My first one broke after a couple of uses, but I have to admit, I was a little rough with it to try to get it opened in a hurry during a sudden shower burst while shopping. I bought another one anyway - price is good and it is really useful in that I use it when I am pushing my elderly mother in a wheelchair while she has her own umbrella to keep dry. This hat-umbrella is just the right size - any bigger and it would be unwieldy; any smaller and it would not keep me totally dry the way it does. So far, since I use a little care to open and close, I've had no problems. It is not the most comfortable thing to wear and I'd pay more if there was a little padding on the head wraparound and strap, but I can live with it as-is. Staying dry while having my hands free is worth it. I would definitely recommend this item.

Cons: - Very flimsy - Cheaply made - Does not stay open, I had to add a piece of cloth in the hole to keep it in open position - CANNOT BE USED IN WINDY CONDITIONS - Even in areas with low wind, A SUDDEN GUST OF WIND will make it useless and embarrassing - Potentially deadly since it can pull your neck with the wind Pros: - Without any wind, it keeps the heat out.

I purchased this for my aunt to use / wear on the kayak. She was tickled! It was easy to open and close. The coverage is wide and covers / shades the whole body. Super fun and cheesy.

I use this hat while walking in both rain and sun. The umbrella itself works well in low wind conditions. I like the UV top reflecting sun. The chin strap clasp is useless. It will not hold the chin strap securely in place in calm conditions…and is completely ineffective in the slightest wind. I devised a temp work around using a spring clasp UNDER the included clasp to hold it in place. A Velcro strap would have worked much better. But all in all…prob worth the few bucks it cost.

I originally bought this to wear to my students soccer games because it’s always hot open field, but summer is here and I’m relaxing. I’m already tan and the sun is HAWT!!! So this hack is 10/10. Hat holds up. Nice chin strap. Fairly comfortable…..better than sun burn obviously. Doesn’t do too well if the wind picks up, but worth the money spent. Coverage is awesome.

Easy to open and close. Doesnt rip hair out. Light weight. Didnt fly off with wind. Easily 10 degrees cooler under it. Everyone was burnt and beat by the sun on the river but not me and my baby (yes, it shaded me and the baby easily on an 8 hr float trip). Will use all the time and wish I woulf have thought of it sooner. Mommas buy it! Buy it for ur babies and if your prone to sunburns buy it. Recommended to everyone.

Head size adjustment is a bit annoying, would be better if it were elastic, but all good. It works

商品自体は予想通りのものが届きました。 直接つけると圧迫や髪の毛を巻き込みやすいので、私はハットの上からつけてます。 多少なりとも重いので人によっては長時間はつらいかも。 風の影響を受けやすいのと、傘さしてるのと同じ幅を取るので登山だと使い所が難しいですね。 座っての子供のスポーツ観戦などにはおすすめです。
