Does What It Says
I use this with tweed Champ, Princeton, Vibrolux, and Deluxe amps, as well as a Princeton Reverb and Super Reverb. Allows me to push my tube amps into the sweet break-up spot at manageable volume levels without killing the tone of the amp. Great product.

Built Very Well
It gave me the ability to play my Fender Deluxe Reverb at proper levels/tone in my apartment without shaking the walls and disturbing my neighbors.I would imagine that this would also be useful of gigging musicians that play smaller places, but still want to get the tone of the amp at lower dbs.

The high / low doesn’t work
This attenuator reduces the cranked volume of my Egnator Rebel 30. But it won’t go to bedroom with the hi /low switch. That switch does nothing. Maybe it’s defective? Returned

Great product but bigger than I thought.
This works perfectly with my new ‘65 Princeton Reverb Reissue. Huge attenuation flexibility. This is now a full fledged practice and gigging ampI originally intended to mount the Iron Man inside the cab but it is way too big. Slightly larger than a full size big muff, and pretty heavy. I needed to get a longer 1/4” to faston speaker cable because the cable that shipped with the amp was too short reach the floor when the amp was on my amp stand. The stock speaker cable in the ‘65 Princeton isn’t great anyway.

You’ll Love This, I Guarantee It!
I’ve been wanting one of these for years, and finally pulled the trigger since the price was never gonna go down. I’m extremely pleased with it. It allows me to crank my Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue to glorious overdriven tones at very modest volume levels. If you use it like I do, be prepared to use the 3 most attenuated settings, however. 15 dB attenuation really doesn’t do it; you need to get onto the 25+ arena. I now leave it hooked up all the time. If you’ve got a tube amp in the 10-30 watt power range, this is a great addition to your rig. Wish they made one for the 50+ amps also.

This thing works really well!
I love the Tone King Iron Man II Mini Attenuator! I can get great sounds out of my Princeton Reverb without playing super loudly. Very quiet, adds no noise at all; very adjustable.

Best attenuator for 15W-18W-30W amps
My Rockcrusher sucked, now I know. This is very precise (many many levels of attenuation) and the tone barely gets impacted... 1000% recommend. Changed my life, I can now play with my 5E3 or my single channel 18W plexi clone in the living room without risking divorce at every note.
