I read somewhere that you are not supposed to put essential oils directly on your skin. Is this true? Thank you!

It may be true not to put (some) essentially oils directly on your skin due to reactions. However I did applied rosemary and sweet orange oil among others all over my skin and palm. I did not experience any problem. I enjoyed inhaling the freshness all over my body and hands! So far I love applying oils that way! No danger so far! It rather felt good and soothing!

Does this oil in any way smell like lysol? I bought one that did that is why I ask.

No mine smells like rosemary. I have the young living one and this one smells the same as that one.
