Never had a grow kit before. This was a good price, but not sure clay balls would have been my choice for ground cover. The light also looses its adhesive when the real moisture/humidity starts. Now that I know all of the items I needs, I would go pick them out individually and spend a little more. What fun is growing exotic fungus if you can't visually enjoy the process?

Thought it was bigger, but its ok little much for the price though.. Used the components and got bigger tub.

We received this product and it had no instructions with it we called the company they said they would send by email. It was a cartoon character with no pertinent information to our kit. We called the company received another email with different directions and Guess what, still not for our kit. Different parts and extra parts in box .Called the company again and they said the redesigned the box that's why all the parts weren't the same go ahead and assemble it and use it. I told them I did not believe it was a submersible pump they assured me it was.You can't check it if it's under water with the pebbles over it ,you can't turn the knob either. It never got up to temperature and smelled up our back room with smoke.This company is not helpful and obviously do not know there product very well. Total waste of money!

I am disappointed in the size of the product and the size of the jars. It is a tiny hamster cage "converted" to grow mushrooms. The substrate jars I received were practically bone dry and they are not measured in any way. Some will look full and others will look half empty. Not even one jar colonized. It looks like the jars were sitting in a warehouse for months. You can purchase most of the stuff in a pet store and make your own substrate jars. A modern rice cooker which is basically a pressure cooker, will sterilize your jars just as well. Just do it yourself and don't waste your money like I did.

LED had a poor soldering job, I spent way too much time taking it apart and manipulating the wires getting it to light... for a while, finally the soldering broke altogether. Instructions show that the tank contains a hole to insert the heating element although my tanks contains no such hole. So far 1/3 growth, one molded jar and 2 without growth, although that might be the spore supplier. I've done this before just buying jars from another supplier and keeping in a dark closet and have had less hassle. I'm sure that if everything worked correctly I'd have a better yield but I bought from you to make life easier and you had the opposite affect, very disappointed :(.

Had some problems with jars earlier, but they compensated for the inconvenience. I'm buying more edible mushroom kits soon too. They have good jars.

Works well. Need Very sterile place to use and it makes the mushrooms grow quick and I can keep re growing them.

love it. if i buy this and they grow and i pick them. can i re use themixture multiple times? or do i have to buy new spores every grow ? how manygrows do i get out of the jar mixture?
