I don't usually write reviews but this cream has been a miracle for my rosacea skin. I recently had brain surgery so a hot, dry inflamed face can really intensify how uncomfortable it feels for me. This cream though so far after a few days of day and night has made my skin feels buttery smooth without a gunky oily feeling, no burning, and is literally repairing my skin barrier beyond anything else I havr tried. I have tried alot of other brands Byoma, Murad, Aveeno sensitive skin, Cerave(2nd best), Vanicream, etc. I wish they made a toner and serum, I would buy in a heart beat. I am purchasing the big bottle because I had amazing results. My pores look smaller which has made me feel very self conscious especially because I am just now learning how to take care of my skin after years of caring for my elderly father who just recently passed. This cream has really given me hope in looking naturally beautiful with minimal effort because the Lord knows brain and spine surgery is debilating and I sometimes can't put too much time into long skin care routines. Especially right now where I can't bend or twist and lift anything over 5 pounds. This creams LASTS and I love gliding my finger along my smooth silky skin. Nothing has ever made my face feel like this. I am so grateful and beyond impressed. Finally a cream just for me. Thank you Etude 2x Intensive Cream.

I use this every night as an occlusive with Cetaphil's moisturizing lotion and it has changed my skin!! I live in a very, very hot and dry climate. With sensitive combination skin that means extra oily T-zone and flaking cheeks and chin all year round. My barrier was definitely damaged before using this. I was red and flakey, terrible cluster breakouts that wouldn't quit. It was painful. I tried about 4 other barrier creams before buying this and praying it helped. After a month of 4% Benzoyl Peroxide cleanser, witch hazel + tea tree toner, 10% niacinamide (B3) and the duo of Cetaphil and this 2X barrier cream I completely cleared my skin. My texture, redness and the amount of moisture I retain has dramatically improved. It's so lightweight, gentle and soothing. Better than any other barrier cream I've tried. Well worth the price too as I'm still not through my single bottle! (purchased near the end of 2025) I know with everything skincare "a little goes a long way" is the rule but it really applies for this. If you have similar issues and you're on the fence about this PLEASE give it a shot!!

As a super sensitive and acne prone girl with combination skin, this has been one of the best moisturizers that hydrates my face deeply without making it super oily. Even with shea butter as an ingredient, my pores are not clogged and I have yet to break out, even though I usually react to it. It has a creamy but lightweight texture that calms irritation and redness, and I’ve noticed that my skin feels softer and more balanced since using it. I also love that it has minimal ingredients and no fragrance, making it safe for daily use even when my skin is flaring up. If you have sensitive, acne-prone, or easily irritated skin but still need moisture, this cream is definitely worth trying. I typically only use this at night, because it does tend to feel a bit oily when you put it on initially. This sensation fades after a while and makes my face super soft. A little definitely goes a long way. While other people don't really enjoy the cap, I actually really like it. It prevents me from accidently squeezing and wasting a lot of product. Highly recommend Edit: Beware for fakes. I bought my second tube and the consistency was not the same. The second tube also broke me out.

The cream itself is great, it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin and it's nice and moisturizing and absorbs nicely, however the design of the lid is just the worst. You have to rotate the lid like 1/8 of a turn in order to dispense the product, it smushes out the sides of this flap thing, making it difficult to dispense a small amount, and then you have to smear it off the tip part, then you cannot snap the lid closed until you rotate it back the 1/8 turn. It's unnecessarily complicated and difficult to use with one hand. What made this lid design something they picked over a normal lid? The DearKlairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream is at least as good as this, has a metal tube and a normal lid.

I have been using this Etude moisturizer for years. I must have gone through at least 15 bottles of it as this point. It's the best PM-last-step moisturizing product I've ever found, because the texture is perfect and it never pills. I love the cap mechanism as well, it's clever and prevents the bottle from getting messy from constant use. I always wake up with calm, smooth, and glowy skin because of this stuff. I have oily-dehydrated skin that's also acne prone, and this moisturizer never clogs my pores, despite being on the thicker side. I use the lighter gel version of this Etude moisturizer, the one that comes in a jar with a little spatula, in the morning before my sunscreen and makeup, because the 2x Intensive Cream is a bit too thick for my AM routine. I tried using the gel version in my PM routine but it doesn't work as well. I recommend trying it, especially when the set of 2 bottles is on sale. If they made a gallon of this stuff available for sale, I would bathe in this moisturizer.

Felt improvement in my very sensitive, rosacea plagued face OVERNIGHT. I have trouble tolerating even the slightest of scratchy pillow cases and this cream (along with their whipped cleanser) must have restored enough of the skin barrier that it was able to handle what others would deem a normal cotton pillow case. Weird example but being able to lay comfortably on my face and not have any stickiness or greasy feel to the cream is AMAZING. Sold and now a subscriber!

I found this product because I really like the ETUDE sunscreen, and I feel the same way about this entire skin care line! I have very sensitive skin so good skincare has always been a struggle for me. This feels lightweight and moisturizes my combination skin without leaving my face feeling oily. A little bit goes a long way when applying, so this tube lasts me several months making the price point even more comfortable.

I have very sensitive, ultra dry skin with Rosacea. I have been using ETUDE house 2x barrier intensive repair cream at night for about two weeks now , it has completely changed my skin. Texture is so smooth, pores smaller, redness and irritation has healed. It leaves my skin extremely hydrated without being greasy of feeling heavy. It actually is very soothing. Actually a few nights ago I have tried a new very expensive designer moisturizer which caused me to have a reaction. Few minutes after applying I was breaking out in a rash. I immediately washed it off and applied this soon jung barrier cream and it immediately calmed my skin. I love this cream. It’s amazing and the price is fantastic for how good this stuff is. I will be buying extra to have on hand. Update: I have in fact bought more bottles to have on hand. I saw that are refreshing the packaging design. I’m kinda bummed about that as I like the innovative locking cap. When I first got the product it did take me a second to figure it out but it is rather simple and inventive design. You simply give a slight counter clockwise twist to the top. It unlocks the top and you can flip open. I like the ring dispenser too. To close you flip down the lid but not all the way. Twist the cap back and push down the lid to complete the lock. I love it. It is prefect if you have this stored in a travel bag. There is no risk of accidental leaks and loss of product. Once I saw the packaging change I immediately bought more of the older designs to have on hand. I have also purchased several other products from this brand I am trying out. Including sunscreen, toner, essence balm, eyelash serum. So far I am very impressed with everything. My skin has never been so plum and refreshed. I have tried almost every brand from la roche posey, Thomas Peter Roth, naturium, avene, the ordinary and sooo many more. I think I found my go to skincare line. I hope they come out with a body care line. I will be buying it all!

i cant use another cream but this cream so good and deriveril so fast. i will order aging ^^

One of the best Korean skincare products for sensitive skin; a major advantage is that it's fragrance-free, which is a must for me!

It has a lock on, it’s very nice and highly moisturizing. Suited my combination skin, no issues with it!
