A: its going to depend on the amount of play but as a rule only silicone when you clear the board off completely and re wax.

A: NO

A: Silicone spray is to help with puck tracking.  Depending on the issue you could use Sun-glo Paste Wax to fill any scratches or cracks in your playfield and then Master Glaze adds a protective coating to the playfield.  Thank you.
