Does this product (or its packaging) contain aerosols? In order to spray?

When u spray on your hair it comes out as dry powder. There is no residue or stiffness or dampness left on your hair like there is with hair spray. There is also no fragrance. So I would say there is no aerosol. I love this product. It blends in nicely with your hair and protected my head from getting sunburn. Hope this answers your question.

Is the poof sunscreen waterproof?

I would say like sunscreen for your skin, if you get wet you need to reapply. The directions tell you to reapply every two hours

Will this protect hair color?

Not sure about protecting hair color but it does protect against sunburn on your scalp.
