BodyMed ZZHP1427 14" X 27" Electrical Digital Moist Heating Pad

Not quite as hot as others but I like the weight of it, timer and price! Hoping it lasts longer than the other brand I usually purchase which has become a piece of garbage in recent years. I'm a Registered Massage Therapist so it gets LOTS of use! Update still works well in 2019! Just bought another one Opened digital controller and snipped off the piezoelectric beeper thing. Ahhhh no more beeping

This heating pad is professional quality and it is well worth the extra expense. Initially I balked at the price but after reading the reviews and considering my options I decided that I needed a quality moist heating pad. Upon receiving the item I immediately could see the difference in quality between this and other heating pads that I have previously owned. Every aspect such as the heavy duty cable, lcd and especially the pad and cover itself is excellent. If you need a heating pad for theraputic reasons you will not regret this purchase. If you are thinking about this purchase consider these aspects before dismissing it on price: Excellent Quality Large size Moist heat element built into product (no need to wet a pad and place it into a sleeve like other cheap pads) High thermal temperature up to 166 degrees LCD control for temperature and time ************************************** Concerns - Most of my concerns were immediately alleviated upon using this product but there are still some very minor flaws that could be remedied either in design or after purchase. Some users have been annoyed with the velcro strap, to this end I have been able to use it as a wrap for my shoulder and neck. However for other body parts it may be too small or large. You can easily rig an adjustable velcro strap solution for this or remove it from the product if it irritates you. The one year warranty seemed paltry considering the price of the product but I was able to purchase an extended warranty with accidental damage for about 11 dollars. The one year warranty also seems standard for these types of products. ************************************** While I am very happy with my purchase, I was further impressed by the excellent customer service of the seller. When the price of the product dropped on amazon as the seller sent me a check for the price differential upon request and was very quick to respond. ----------------Update 7/10/2012------------------------ Product has been going strong for over a year now. No problems at all. Heating pad still gets hot and moist and is extremely effective. The price has dropped significantly making some of my observations about the price point less relevant than they were. At the current price of $46 it's an absolute steal in terms of quality/effectiveness/durability. Cover has gone through the wash with no problems. The velcro strap is indeed frustrating, I ended up rigging a fabric covered velcro strap to make it more comfortable.

My wife spends more time on this heating pad than our pet lizard does on its heated rock, and she absolutely loves it. The moist‑heat option, multiple heat settings, and auto shut‑off make it incredibly easy and comfortable to use. It heats up quickly, stays consistent, and the large pad size covers neck, shoulders, and back without any awkward shifting. It’s reliable, soothing, and gets used daily — sometimes more than the lizard’s rock ever will. A fantastic heating pad that delivers real relief.

This heating pad is absolutely fabulous. It's programmable heat and time works really well. The size ensures you can heat your entire back if you need to. After going through three heating pads every year purchased from drug stores, this one is by far the best I've ever purchased. The heat is even and you do not ever feel it heating up. Once it comes to temperature it stays there. I will never purchase another drug store heating pad. This is a true keeper, and one I highly recommend

I purchase this product mid September and a few days ago I noticed a message EA and it would beep and turn off. Today it no longer turns on. This is only a couple months old. I tried to get a refund or replacement but it the company won’t allow either option and hasn’t responded to my message. I should be given the option to replace it or refund my money back as this should last at least a year not 2 MONTHS Only. From the reviews this is a known problem that they do not resolve and provide a replacement not refund so buyer be aware.
