My head measures 59cm. Will the Medium actually fit? Is the size chart true to size?

It was for my son who has average head size for a 26 yr old. He likes the fit, not tight or loose.

Why is this classified as a men's helmet? Can a woman wear it? What is the difference between men & women's helmets?

It is a really nice helmet. Calling it a men's helmet is making an assumption about how large men's heads are as opposed to women's. If the measurement of your head in centimeters is within the parameters of the size range, 59-63 cm, for large, then it will fit. Mine fits my wife and she looks good in it.
