Good case
The case is great at protecting my iPad at drops the only problem which I don’t think effects the protection of it is that the bottom and top of the case don’t seal completely onto the iPad. Overall it’s a great case.

The thin plastic to accomodate “pencil-mounting” causes problems with it’s ability to stay on
I generally liked the case as a light-weight “skin” to protect the back and sides a bit.But when I first got it, I noticed that there’s a groove in the case on the right side (when held portrait-wise) below the volume buttons of the iPad Pro. The thinner plastic here is so that an Apple Pencil will stick magnetically, and still charge. However, that thinner plastic on that side means that that side of the case doesn’t stay firmly “on” the iPad like the other sides do. When you go to pick up the iPad, if you happen to pick it up by the weakened side of the case, you feel it start to come undone, and it like it's going to slip out of your hand and drop; the opposite of the "protection" that one wants from a case. Also, while at first I could kind of coax/force the weak side back in place (to where it rested it’s “lip” on the front glass, as it should), after having the case on my iPad for 5-6 months... maybe the plastic has aged or something, but it now will no longer go back to where it’s supposed to—it’s kind of permanently out of place. This means that in addition to always feeling loose/unreliable on that side, it’s also not flush with the metal on that side, so if I put my Apple Pencil on the side to charge, the plastic is no longer close enough for the magnet(s) to hold the pencil to the iPad, and so of course the pencil won't charge. Each time I want to charge my Apple Pencil, I have to take the whole case off, which is a pain.It seems like they need to find a way to reinforce the Apple Pencil side of the case.Perhaps if they increased the size of the “lip” that holds onto the front glass (either just on that side, or all around the entire screen)? I mean, there's plenty of more room since it could easily extend another 1/16th- or 1/8th-of-an-inch and still be on the black border of the iPad's screen.Anyway, if that defective design was corrected I would give it five stars. As it is, it feels more like a 3-star product which falls down to 2 stars after it has aged a couple of months, when it then works even less well.

Works with Apple Pencil
I'm using this case with the 2021 5th Gen iPad Pro and the 2nd Generation iPad Pencil. There is a significant percentage of reviews that say the Pencil won't charge with the case on. This isn't totally true. What is probably happening is that when you attach the pencil magnetically to the Right Side of the iPad to charge, the pencil will attach, but not be detected and charged by the iPad. To fix this, you slightly shift the Pencil up or down until the pencil charging notification shows up on your screen at the top. (You can see the notification with the image I attached) Once that charging notification shows up, then your pencil will pair to the iPad and begin charging.Just move the pencil around until you find the sweet spot for charging and in the future it will become muscle memory to find that position. The Pencil charging sweet spot is smaller with the case on then without the case but it's there.Besides the pencil charging stuff, this case fits perfectly for the 2021 12.9 inch iPad Pro and is low profile, reasonably protective and low cost. I use the iPad mainly as a Drawing Pad, Musical Instrument, and a Portable extended screen for my MacBook Pro, so there was no need for the Magic Keyboard.

It’s okay but..
It fits pretty well. But on the sides of the screen, it isn’t snug enough but to me that isn’t really a big deal.Ive read that people are having trouble charging their Pencil. It DOES charge it. You just have to kinda push it firmly against the magnet and kinda wiggle it slightly up and down until you see it’s charging.Isn’t terrible for the price and overall it’s okay for protection.I just wish it was a little tighter around the screen edges and have the magnetic charging area cut out, for easier Pencil charging.

It does what it’s supposed to!
I was hesitant to purchase this case because of all the mixed reviews and people crying about certain things that they should expect.1. The case is thin, but it does seem to have protective corners (to an extent; it is not an Otterbox case).2. Apple Pencil will charge if case is put on properly (corners tucked in) and pen is positioned with tip facing down (to the usb-c charging port).3. It is clear and showcases whatever color or skin you have on your iPad, which looks great.4. If you don’t like the case or what it does for you, simply return it.5. Don’t even try to use a case or any case with the Magic Keyboard. You’re asking for too much, get a skin to protect your iPad and it might work…4 out of 5 stars because I just received it and slapped it on. Might upload pictures after.

Doesn't fit well
This case is ok for the money, but please note: the sides don't fit well. The case seems a bit small for the iPad, so the sides don't come up over the edge of the iPad, no matter how I try to stretch it, heat the case first, or remove it and put it back on.Pluses: The material is protective, and won't crack (I had another case in this material for 3 years). If you need something cheap and don't mind a poor fit, this is ok.

Watch out if you have a Screen protector
I have a screen protector and the case wants to wrap around the edges of the iPad, but it hits the screen protector not allowing it to fully enclose the iPad in the case. It still works good just a lip of the right side that won’t clip in, just be weary if you have a screen protector other than that everything lines up and it’s just as advertised.

High quality case but no pencil charging
High quality product but the pencil doesn’t charge through the case, which is annoying!
