does this keep water out of the ears?

Hi, Hannah here from SOUL CAP - the cap should be worn covering your ears and will keep water out. Hope this helps!

Should I wear a nylon cap (wig cap) underneath it to protect my edges?

I have not done that (with the wig cap) and been fine. It fits pretty snug over edges if you pull it down over your ears. So that has worked for me. Hope this helps

Is soul cap a black owned business? i'm organizing a swim for the black community and would like to support a black owned business with my purchase.
