Lotion changes your skin. Moisturizing and smell is heavenly. Expensive but worth it.

This is a very large bottle at 32 ounces, but I am so glad I took a chance on ordering it. The fragrance is lovely, and the lotion sinks into the skin right away. The fragramce, unfotunately, is gone in minutes, at least for me, but I love this so much I will order another soon.

Get this lotion here rather then than the Caswell Massey website. I can count on Amazon to get this very popular lotion to my door. It smells exactly as I expected - as I have been a loyal customer of Caswell Massey.

Alright, I blind-bought this giant honking bottle after doing way more research than I should have had to for a body lotion (I have no idea why the actual ingredients list is nowhere to be found on Caswell-Massey's site, hence the four stars) in my never-ending quest to find a lotion that smells like Cella shaving cream. The scent: I was surprised at how straightforward it was. It smells like almond extract. Pretty much exactly. I see outside of the almond oil and various extracts, there is no added fragrance. I admittedly missed it and wish my skin smelled like anything at all after thirty seconds, but maybe I just can't smell it for some reason? So, other than it smelling very nice for that brief moment, I was disappointed by this. I can see this also being a plus for a lot of people. It's extremely unisex. 2. Formula: My initial disappointment about the scent longevity became second to how much I loved the way it felt on my skin. I'm impressed with it's thoughtfulness and probably have never tried a formula I think would be as universally appealing as this one. As someone who uses lotions like Amlactin or Eucerin, I was afraid this would feel pointless or too light/silicone-y, but it feels so nourishing and silky/soft, but not in an annoying or sitting-on-top-of-your-skin way (it does, but very briefly), it absorbs and you're just left with that silky softness and the skin feels so comfortable underneath. Probably going to be a repeat customer for this formula alone. I didn't get quite the almond fragrance longevity I wanted but I ended up with a body lotion I absolutely adore, in a bottle size I appreciate. Also, you don't need very much! This, I'm thrilled about. It comes out in small, dense amounts and a very tiny amount of lotion will do your whole arm and then some. It doesn't feel like a wasteful or uneconomical purchase at all, in fact it just makes me more and more annoyed with other lotions for not being this way. Also I see rash complaints below. I've only had this for a few hours but I generally don't have sensitive skin and this is performing marvelously. 3. Packaging: A lot of people were talking about the pump but mine was fine. It came separate next to the bottle and it took kind of a minute to get it to come out by pumping but so far no issues. The bottle itself is beautiful and clean-looking. 4. Authenticity: This is my first purchase of this so I have no idea, but I did purchase here from Amazon/this seller/item exactly and the above are my thoughts about it.

Great smell and not too greasy.

Scent was nice. Good body moisturizer, but developed a rash on arms and legs after using this lotion for a few days. Looked up the ingredient I was not familiar with, Calendula, and discovered it has ingredients related to ragweed which I am very allergic to. I had to throw this away. Rash went away after about 3 days.
