I have used rat tail combs for years. I have very thin hair and i need to tease my hair in order to get height. My combs break even with metal tails. This comb has deep teeth that really tease the hair. The base of comb where the pressure of teasing the hair is very strong, better than most combs. I recommend this comb to all who tease their hair. Great quality comb! have been using this on my hair for almost a year and still looks brand new. I use this to part my hair (to the side or middle) and so far no issues with it. Definitely would recommend! NOTE: I have fine straight hair. (if it matters lol)
