Can the neck scarf be put on "backwards" to make a mask without hindering the eyes?

I have used mine in several different ways. By bringing the snaps together in the front to cover your face you can still see. It sort of folds the hat brim in. I did this after a facial procedure where I could not expose my skin to light and it was comfy and worked great. I hope that helps.
