Perfect for a narrow beam
I needed a very narrow beam for a clients house and this was perfect. This fixture is UGLY so it needs to be hidden in recessed can. Worked great and client was thrilled dimmable very low too

Not Dimmable
Would be almost perfect if it was dimmable. Tried four of them and they don’t dim. When on a dimmer they flicker or just turn off.

Great adjustable lights for small still photos
These bulbs have been great. We have a shop on ETSY and have been working to make our photos stand out. I have a small studio stand with good general lighting but no way to use lights to accentuate the products we are selling. We purchased one warm white and one cool white bulb. We put them into simple clip lights that allowed us to move them as needed. With that mobility and the bulbs ability to be adjusted to such a wide range of diameters we have been able to bring a new dynamic to our pictures. This was a very modest investment that has had good payoffs.

Does not fit inside a Par15 fixture
I think this is an ingenious bulb since its the only indoor bulb I know where you can adjust the spread of the beam. Also, many spot lights are floods (35-40 degrees) so finding a narrow beam is great -- especially if that's what you are looking for. My only issue is that I thought the bulb might fit into a Par16 fixture. I does not. It is too wide. I guess that is why they show it hanging from a cord and not in a ceiling fixture! Hope this is helpful.

Works great, but lasted less than a year
The bulb worked great for about 7 months until it died. the beam angle was easy to adjust and was super bright - used it with a disco ball. Won't buy again due to the poor lifespan.

Will not stop flickering
This bulb worked okay for a little while, but now will not stop flickering. Have attempted to fix using the troubleshooting guide but none of those basic steps like “take light bulb out of bulb socket and put back in” worked. Buyer beware, this product is not a long term solution.
