It can be used as a resin without a printer, but You should only really use transparent resin for that. It would have a huge amount of trouble trying to get it to consistently harden if your application is more than a thin layer. Pouring it into a mold I not recommended

how to dispose of failed prints?

If they are printed with ECO resin - just well cure it on the sun and move to Bin
