This project was SO fun and turned out amazing! I would highly recommend this to anyone who is into crafting or miniatures.As many noted, it does take patience and care. Take the time to cut things out neatly along the lines, measure as indicated etc. They give you the exact amount of product you need, but the stencils for each material are laid out on the page as you should cut them out within the amount of material given.Others also noted the spacing on the 3 triangle ceiling panels is off. I broke off small straight pieces of wood left from the wood piece containing the table leg/chairs, stool seats etc. and painted those blue, and glued them to the base panels. I had some faux moss from other projects lying around, and used this to fill the gaps to the triangle windows.The small cake tray on the outdoor table wound up breaking. The 3 panels are slightly too large to stick in the frame, but I glued it together and added moss to cover the break.The lights were a little tricky to twist the tiny wires together and tape etc. but I was surprised how easy the extension cords were to hook up otherwise, and they worked right away.An exacto knife, scissors, glue and glue gun, and tweezers should work well for tools. Liquid Fusion is my favorite glue that I found on this site.Best of luck, hope you enjoy it!!

First let me say that this little project when completed is absolutely adorable and treasured. However, this kit is not for the novice. It took me a month of working on weekends and a lot of nights to get it finished. I used Turbo Tacky Glue and Gorilla super glue, 5 sets of tweezers, extra small Fiskars scissors and a lot of paper towels. There was an extra of the blue triangles that I cut into smaller pieces to fill in the gaps for the circular roof feature in the front. The instructions can get confusing and not entirely easy to follow. I wish at times it would say “green crepe paper” or “shiny gold paper” as opposed to it’s code. Be prepared to improvise and use your creativity. I hope some of my pictures can help with seeing things that aren’t explained well or not addressed at all.

Huge PITA. No glue, no stickers, very tedious, with poor directions

SUPER CUTE-Strongly recommend this kit to even a beginner.... just pay close attention to the instructions. I've done a lot of these kits...from the simple to the complicated. Each kit has their 'thing' about them... like some have a lot of plants... others a lot of books...or boxes...or food... and all of them tend to follow the same way of doing things...I loved the way this one didn't follow the typical pattern....it had me created items other kits don't do or do poorly...like the cans of tea...the scale... the whole kit is so well-thought-out and planned that if you follow the instructions you will create a beautiful little tea house you can be proud of. I recommend this one to everyone...no matter where they are in skills. This one is hands down my new favorite.The only thing I wish was better in the kit was the roof instructions. The parts for the roof need clarity as to what side the clear windows should be installed on.... especially the part over the door where the 3 segments all look the same, but are all different. Before putting on the clear sheets I suggest putting the roof together with scotch tape to get an understanding of how it should go.

This kit was delivered well packaged and not missing any parts and nothing broken. Good value for the money. If you are a scratch model builder or advanced doll house crafter then this kit is best suited for you. Parts are very small and mostly require gluing of the parts. Instructions are adequate, but are not typical step 1, step 2, etc. it’s more general instructions on how to get different parts of the kit completed. It’s a good kit to use as a base and customize to be more Potter-like, which I did. Good to have clear wood glue, hot melt glue, stick glue, exacto knife, magnetized screwdrivers. Overall pleased and it looks good on the shelf.

I've done roughly 8 or so dollhouse kits. I have to say that this is a very high quality and beautiful kit- but also quite challenging. I think it was the most difficult one I have ever done, but probably the most beautiful. I'm really glad this wasn't my first dollhouse. I ended up with a big hole in the roof which I covered with fake moss. The instructions and materials are high quality. As always with these kits, it is very intricate and time-consuming work to put together but for the right type of person, so much fun and very rewarding. I would recommend this kit to anyone who already has quite a few dollhouse kits under their belt. Wonderful company! Well done! Will absolutely be buying more kits from this company in the future. :)

Its really cute but very difficult to enjoy putting together. It doesn’t click together like most so you have to glue it all. Doesn’t come with said glue. So there’s lots of waiting to dry. Didn’t finish before I gave up. The instructions are mostly pictures and arrows.

Loved putting this together. Come with all parts just need glue and some small implements to help with small parts.
