Nespresso Original Lattissima One Coffee Pod Machine White by De'Longhi

Saves us lots of money, really hood coffee and you can get coffee shop pods like nero and syrups, tastes just like the coffee shop

We bought this machine as a replacement of our previous (very solid) DeLonghi Lattissima black, which we used for several years. Unfortunately this machine is a disappointment. Firstly, it is awkward to switch on, it requires 2 touch buttons to be pressed simultaneously. If for some reason, you do not manage to press consistently, who know what other function might trigger and you get the machine starting to deliver coffee or milk and the only thing intended was to switch it on! Secondly, the milk dispenser is not doing what it says: there is no actual froth coming out. The dispenser can be changed the angle of the operation: in the extreme position the milk starts leaking milk outside! Really disappointing!. The milk dispenser also requires continuous cleaning otherwise it does not work at all!: I am serious: every single time the milk dispenser is used, the yellow 'clean' indicator switches on indicating that 'cleaning' is required!. This is absolutely annoying. Also, the milk dispenser is thought for single doses of milk, therefore each member of the family needs to keep adding milk every time it needs to be used. There is also the fact that the whole structure of the machine is fragile and gets dirty with coffe and milk leaks very frequently, forcing us to keep cleaning it after every single use.... Avoid at all costs!!

The Nespresso Lattissima One is a fantastic little machine. It’s stylish, compact, and so easy to use — making amazing coffee with minimal effort. For the price, it’s honestly incredible — you get café-quality lattes and cappuccinos at home without the fuss. The built-in milk frother works really well, and the single-serve milk container is a smart touch - no waste and super easy to clean. It heats up quickly, and the overall quality and convenience make it great value for money. Highly recommend!

Great coffee machine. Very easy to use and makes brilliant milk froth the only bad point i have is that despite saying its white i would say its more an off white. In the videos and pictures on the product website it looks bright white but the one i received was not. As you can see next to my white microwave

Good when it works, not as good as our last machine, milk frother has to be taken apart and washed, but atleast once a week it cuts out and has to be descaled. does not blow out steam to clear frother. Very fiddly.

Great compact coffee machine. Very pretty- looks great. Starbucks pods go great with this. Design wise would be better to be wider rather than thin and long for worktop but overall good machine! Have used for few weeks now and haven’t brought a Starbucks since. Love the design and milk frother. You can make a small espresso, medium coffee or press the milk button and will make a large cup latte. Can’t fit tall cups in normal mug fits fine- we had some latte glasses that don’t fit under the coffee dispenser but doesn’t matter. Over all really happy and would buy again. Great value for money.

Spit on and worth every penny. Great coffee machine

I’ve been a Nespresso customer for many years and when my original machine eventually gave up the ghost after many years service, the only replacement I could find with an integral milk frother for the original capsules was the Latissima One. The first machine I ordered, I sent back after 2 days as I couldn’t get the milk frother to work. I later realised that it may have been because there was a fingerprint or something equally innocuous on the frother and/or the ‘magic eye’ that reads the level of milk. Is this issue mentioned in the instructions - no. In the trouble shooting pages - no. Lesson learnt however. Next, the frother itself hangs in mid air by the temperamental attachment (which if you don’t insert precisely, refuses to acknowledge the presence of the frother at all and not forgetting to make sure the frother and magic eye are spotless). Sometimes after dispensing just one cappuccino the machine then determinedly refuses to do any more coffees until you have cleaned the frother again. The front of the machine is so narrow, you need to delicately balance any cup or mug under the coffee spout. Putting a normal sized cup on the machine is precarious. You will be fine with an espresso cup. Having been used to regularly descaling my previous machine (regardless of whether it told me to or not), I thought that after 6 months of use, I would descale my new machine even though the descaling light had not flashed. Unfortunately, having prepared the machine for descaling, it did not enter descaling mode when inserting the descaling spout as my previous machine gratefully did. Come on Nespresso and DeLonghi - surely you can do better than this piece of very expensive cr*p.

This unit was never able to make drinks correctly because the steamed milk requires the user to push on the plastic container in order to work properly. Additionally, the nespresso cartridges occasioanlly get crushed the wrong way . I think I may have received a poorly manufactured machine, and I would like to try this same model again. But I was not able to get anyone from Amazon or from DeLonghi to respond, so that I can exchange this unit :(

Very nice machine

Fantastic machine, got this for my husband’s 60th. It is really simple to use, and came with some sample pods. You also get a voucher for three packs of pods and a gift from Nespresso , such great value. It’s a good size and does not take up much room. Coffee comes out really hot and milk frothier built in is terrific . Very impressed with this great little machine.
