This was such a fun activity! Kids ages 8-12 and the grownups all loved doing it together. It was engaging, easy to do, and everyone enjoyed experimenting with different color combinations and patterns.One tip: you'll need to prepare the water solution ahead of time. We mixed ours in empty water/juice bottles (see picture), which made it so much easier to shake the powder until it dissolved. We found that using 2 of the included scoops in one standard water bottle worked perfectly. One bottle filled the tray about twice, so it lasted longer than expected.We actually ran out of the included paper before we ran out of the colors and solution, so we simply cut regular 8.5" x 11" paper in half and kept going. We also experimented with different paper weights, and heavier paper definitely worked the best—it held up better in the water and didn't wrinkle nearly as much.Overall, this was a fantastic group activity, and we'd absolutely do it again. Highly recommend!

I bought this as a gift for my niece, and it is a fantastic creative activity. It’s completely different from standard painting seeing the colors float and swirl on the water is like magic. The kit comes with everything you need to get started right away, and the instructions are easy enough for a child to follow with a little help. The results are always unique, and it’s very satisfying for kids to see the pattern "snap" onto the paper. It’s a bit messy, so I’d recommend putting down some newspaper first, but the cleanup is easy. It’s a wonderful gift for any kid who likes to experiment and create.

I find it difficult to find lower priced gifts for my teenagers. This looked like a good option for my daughter who loves art. It held up to our expectations. She was more engaged than I expected throughout the process. She wanted to try using something other than paper but the kit doesn't cover other items in the manual. She still had fun and it was worth it to get her doing something hands on. Decent project for any kid who likes art.

This set is really awesome. I wish I had pictures. It does take a while for the solution to set up after you mix it with water, so it cannot be used right away. Me and my granddaughter loved it. It has lots of sheets to make lots of great tye-dye looking pictures.

This worked so well! I was pleasantly surprised! We read different things about how to do it. I followed the 2 little spoonfuls ( spoon included) with 250 ml. I put this in a disposable water bottle. Thankfully I had read in other comments that this solution needs to sit for at least 6 hours!! We left it over night. The 7 year old loved it. And even the 5 and 4 year old could do it. I helped lift the paper out so it wouldn’t drip or rip. Would highly recommend.

Extremely watery paint

My granddaughter loved this gift. Good value. Every time we are together now, she asks if we can do marbling. Remember to mix up the solution the day before you plan to marble. It’s fun to create and experiment with different designs. The colors are vibrant. Paper size is good for making note cards using some of the pieces. So pretty.

My kids loved this. It kept them busy for hours. I would purchase again as gifts to others.
