Very Effective Backstop
The good news is that it is very effective as a backstop for a lacrosse net in the backyard. The good news/bad news is, as one can see from the pictures, it is hard to see (the good news) for those of us who don't want to look out into the backyard and see a 20' by 10' net suspended from two trees. The bad news is when strung the dogs and other animals can, and have, run into it not unlike a very clean sliding glass door.To reduce the problem, the net is strung up about 11' high (ground balls getting away usually isn't a problem) on a coated steel cable that is tensioned by a "hobby horse" spring I found on Amazon and a packet of shower curtain-like rings that can allow the cable to pass and has individual clips to attach the net. I found a set of 40 clips on Amazon and used them all over the 20' length. The advantage of this set up is the ability to draw the netting open when not in use and bungy cord it to one of the trees and out of the way when not in use.I have made a few back stops over the years but the quality of this netting and this particular set up make it the best so far. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

So far I am extremely happy with my choice of this netting
So far I am extremely happy with my choice of this netting. I strung wire cable between two trees and attached the netting to the cable with spring clips. The clips allow me to easily fold the netting out of the way when not in use. I have not had any golf balls go thru the netting.
