A: Yes, I have a daughter who's 13 and a son who's 6.  They both use it.  My son hit's baseballs off of it and my daughter uses it for softball.

**Q: can this be used for tee ball**
A: Yes although even at bottom height it may be a little too high for some t-ball kids

**Q: Why won’t my tee lock in place?**
A: The tee should “lock” in place. Not sure of the internal pieces, but it should not drop or lower by itself.
