I love this little winch! I mounted it to a frame in my truck bed. Works everytime. Love the remote.

I installed this on a 2024 polaris sportsman 450 EPS and have already needed to use it after I tiped my quad and hurt my leg. Worked perfect and with ease. Was also very easy to install with the Sportsman mounting plate (not the one included with this winch).

I wasn’t able to get the remote working initially but the response I received from the seller was instant and very helpful! Everything works great now!!!!

It sucks. Broke the very first time I tested it with my Honda 420 rancher on flat ground. Not stuck nothing in a bind. Just wanted to pull it a few feet with the bike in neutral to see how it worked. Would not buy.

5 stars, but there were a couple of problems with the fit for my ATV (2002 Arctic Cat). The bolt holes almost matched the old winch but not quite. I ended up using the old mounting plate because the new one caused the winch motor to hit the radiator bracket. The winch motor is very smooth and quiet. The synthetic line appears to bevery well made with out any snags on it. Other than the bolt holes there isn't any thimg not to like.

I want to give this a good review but it’s hard. The winch, controls, remote were all great. The mount, I had to modify to fit my 2025 Kawasaki Brute Force 450. But hey it fit and looked great. Today hit the trails and got stuck having to winch over a log. It pulled me half way over, then when letting out the cable to hook to a different tree my ATV started smoking bad! The positive wire over heated and started burning. Not even under tension as I was letting out cable it almost caught my ATV on fire. I had to shut the power off and cut the positive wire from the battery to stop it from ruining my whole ATV. As you can see not much of an obstacle and no where near the weight limit. Installation was done professionally no exposed wires that could have shorted out causing this issue. Just bad manufacturing and cheap wires.

The first one I purchased had some issues. I got the winch installed and then started to wire it. As soon as I connected the +12v wire to the battery, there was a loud pop and some sparks from the wire so I immediately removed it. I opened the control box to test with my multi-meter to verify connections and that it worked as it should. I think it was likely wired incorrectly but with no diagram and the probable damage to the solenoid it was hard to tell. I packaged it up and returned it. I then purchased a second unit as overall the reviews were great. The second unit installed and powered with no issues. The only probably I had with the second unit is the poor quality of the dyneema winch line. We pulled a 2000lb air boat about 1 foot forward on the trailer and later noticed that most of the bottom layers had melted in various spots. I purchased a replacement line from anothe brand and all has been good.

So I haven’t had to pull anything, but I guess like the saying goes: it’s better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it. I did have to install the winch in an offset position on my Kandi 4p but it will work. The provided plate won’t work on a Kandi 4P
