One Booster Everything Boosted
I’ve had this battery booster for over a year now. Gotta say, I had no idea how helpful these things are. I went with the 4250A as I have a big ol’ diesel truck, but it works on all my toys. I’ve used it on my Jeep, the diesel truck of course, my zero turn mower, and my dirt bikes. It’s never let me down as of yet. I find it takes about 3 or 4 hours to fully charge if you’re using a high quality USB-C cable, and I can get 7-10 jumps from it until needing to charge again. Though, the amount of usages is gonna depend on what you’re jumping. Meaning, the diesel truck takes way more power to start than the Jeep. In conclusion, I think this should be in everyone’s tool kit. I highly recommend 🤘

It just works! Don't buy an El Cheapo "Gibberish Brand", buy this one! You WILL NOT be disappointed!
So, you're looking at this because you have a 1-ton truck? Dual batteries? And I'm guessing in the cold your engine simply just doesn't want to start, right? Or perhaps you've got a vehicle that loses battery charge after a couple days of being unused? Or perhaps you have a habit of accidentally leaving the dome light on all night? Or perhaps your battery just isn't up to snuff anymore and you just want to make sure it starts, regardless? And now you're looking at that price of $370 (at the time of this review) and thinking to yourself "There's got to be a cheaper one that will get the job done, right?" Short answer? Possibly. Shorter answer? DON'T! <] TLDR [> It absolutely works. It delivers the power it advertises. It's worth the money. If you want a boost pack that just works and you can afford it? Then just buy this one! You will NOT be disappointed! DO NOT buy the cheaper "Gibberish Brand" packs. If you do, you WILL be disappointed and they WILL leave you stranded. Yep. it really is that simple! My ONLY regret in buying this jump pack is that I didn't buy it sooner! I just couldn't justify the price tag... If I had known just how good it is, I'd have made room in the budget for it a lot sooner than I did! <] /TLDR [> I have a 1998 GMC K3500 with a dual battery setup. I do NOT have a block heater (yet). At zero degrees (F), it turns over but REFUSES to catch. After turning the engine over for roughly 10 seconds on a fresh full charge, it just quits. No go juice! And if you've done like I have by adding a manual override for your glow plugs because you upgraded them and know they can handle the extended burn time? It's still not enough. The batteries are just too small to be viable in the winter on the Canadian border where I am. [ Edit 3/19/26: I forgot to mention in this that I also upgraded my starter to a planetary gear high torque high speed starter, and it STILL doesn't like to catch in colder temps! ] Now that you have the backstory, I too was put off by the price. I watched a LOT of videos comparing various jump packs and every single one of them rated THIS pack, the NOCO Boost X GBX155 as the highest in every single list. I really had a tough time shelling out the cash for this, but now that I have it? I'll NEVER give it up! This thing is super easy to use. Charge it up when you get it. Believe it or not, for as heavy and bulky as this jump pack is, it charges FAST. From depleted to full charge in under 3 hours! That's AMAZING! If you have a dual battery diesel truck like me? You're going to be absolutely ASTONISHED at just how much power this thing packs. Its punch is nothing short of INCREDIBLE! When you hook it up to your battery, make sure you connect it to the battery that has the positive lead straight to the starter. While it'll work, connecting it to the accessory battery WILL cause a loss of power to the starter simply because of the cable run length from the accessory battery over to the primary start battery and then to the starter. Really, the only thing I can say I'm not too fond of is where they put the button to turn on the flashlight function. That darned thing is RIGHT where I grab it to pick it up and every time I pick it up I inadvertently press the flashlight button and let me tell you, it's pretty darned bright! This thing will also let you override the error condition on a FULLY depleted battery to allow you to jump the vehicle regardless of your battery voltage. Another really nice feature is the fact that it also has two USB-A ports to charge another device with, like your phone. The USB-C charging port can also be used to charge another USB-C device, too! The charging port goes two ways! The real reason you're looking at this specific jump pack though, is to find out if it lives up to its promises. I can tell you that yes, it absolutely does! Keep this in your vehicle and you'll end up being a hero to someone if they need a jump, too. No more need to carry long, heavy jumper cables if you've got this thing! You can rest easy if you have this jump pack. If you get into a spot of trouble because you left your headlights or marker lights or dome light on and ran your battery down while you were at the theater watching a movie or something? This will absolutely get you out of a jam. My truck is nearly 30 years old. I upgraded the starter to a planetary reduction gear starter. In the summer months, the dual batteries spin the engine decently with the specific starter I upgraded to. However, this jump pack? At ZERO degrees Fahrenheit, this jump pack cranks the engine over even faster than the dual batteries in the truck do! Because of where I am and my current vehicle situation, I'm having to jump the truck virtually every time I want to go somewhere. The truck's batteries just aren't enough and there's really no easy way to install bigger, more capable batteries under the hood. But, with this jump pack? I don't have to worry about whether the truck will start or not. It's virtually guaranteed it will. Without this jump pack, I'd be stuck most of the time in winter! You could call it peace of mind and you'd be accurate! If you're on the fence between this and a cheap one that's half the price or even a quarter of the price? Do yourself a favor! Forget the cheap ones, they don't stand a chance against this one. If you've got a family and you NEED your vehicle to just WORK regardless of having left that dome light on all night? You won't be disappointed if you have the NOCO Boost X GBX155. It's worth every penny!

Excellent Customer service - Stands Behind their Fabulous producst!
Purchased January 30, 2025. UPDATE April 18, 20206 Changed back to five stars. NOCO support is amazing!!! In spite of the "out of warranty", they had me ship the old one in. They sent me a a New GBX155! I have three of these Jump Starters - one for my car and two of the GBX155s for my two diesel trucks. The are older trucks and sometimes I leave something on inside. They are much safer than jump cables - you never know when someone else makes a mistake. Until the one I describe below, None of my NOCO products have ever had a problem. I have been buying their chargers (NOCO Genius G3500, and larger) and have had them for years. Quality is superb! Now I can say, so is customer service. ********* Original: On March 16, 2026, I discovered it dead. No lights, no nothing. Will not take a charge. I expected a lot more from this.

(pls read warning) updating 5 star to 0 star
This product looks and feels it’s made To be really tough. I had a smaller version of this for years but now I’m dealing with transporting cars in the snow which are completely dead at times. Will update in a few months about the performance of this particular unit. I am a little disappointed with one key factor as advance as this looks I was very surprised not to have a C port to C port charger. This unit was way too expensive not to have that included with the product. Also the two A USB out ports are only 2.1A. That is nuts, as advanced this unit is Those A ports should be higher amps in the year 2024. My $50 portable phone charger has higher amp in its A USB out port. Do!!! not invest GB-X series of Nico products. This is hands-down, an inferior line of products Compare to GB models. I am a true believer in Nico products. I had GB 40 for 4 1/2 years and GB 50 for about six years. My GB 50. So considering that, I decided to go a step up and invest a serious amount of money and get GBX 155, Big mistake on my part like big mistake. my GB 50 had more backbone than this GBX 155. For Contrast I jumpstarted two dead batteries Off Jeep patriots, a dead battery of a F150, And a dead battery of a Chevy Malibu. And this jump box was dead, Down to its last bar. Compare to the GB 50 I was able to jumpstart almost 9 cars before it died out. I will be sending this back through warranty. Hopefully they find that there’s something wrong with this and fix it but if they tell me nothings wrong with it, they can keep it. Pls !!!!! Don’t buy noco GBX models. Not a good product I still recommend Nico GB models. They are way better.

Ranch Equipment needs the NOCO Boost X
The NOCO Boost X is fantastic! I live on a ranch with numerous tractors, vehicles, mowing equipment, etc. I used it on a tractor that would not start. I hooked it up to the battery and BAM back in business. Tractor working! I highly recommend it. I travel with it inside my RV motorcoach. I am considering purchasing another one to keep inside my vehicle.

Has a battery use limit and once you hit that limit you'll no longer be able to charge it
Using this jump starter under severe Minnesota weather conditions, I have put this thing through every possible scenario I could think of so here are my personal observations... - Jump started over 1,000 vehicles in the course of two years - Used in 125 jobs in the last 132 days... business has been slow compared to previous year - Cars serviced range from full electric to 8 cylinder old beaters where the 12 volt batteries were either very low to fully crank engine to depleted and bad alternators that didn't held engine to run for two minutes. - 5 vehicles were unsuccessful to start due to electrical issues or vehicle's manufacturer defects that pushed beyond the capabilities of this jump-starter - Quickly charging inside the truck using 12V plug provided offered non-stop daily use - Heavier jumpstarts will consume lithium battery quickly, avoid using override button if battery is low - Don't leave in cold weather vehicle under 30 degrees, this impacts jumpstart readiness Why did I rated at 4 stars? The unit stopped taking a charge after a heavy jumpstart that required use of override button two times on a Ford Escape SUV, not something I would have imagined, this unit has done diesel engine starts without an issue, but when the lithium battery discharges so quickly it will go dormant and may not come back when plugged in. When searching for this issue others have experienced the same outcome and NOCO would not honor warranty after two years. NOCO Boost line seems to have a limit that prevents it from discharging like that but the NOCO Boost X fires much quicker and can jumpstart almost anything but could potentially die quicker. In conclusion... Read the manual and watch NOCO's how to videos before you cause a preventable damage on your unit.

Easy to Use, Saves Excess Hassle
Works great! I have a smaller one made by GooLoo that works decent but no longer works as good as it used to, and any time it's below 50% battery it constantly turns itself back off, so I started looking for a new jump starter. Opted for this one and I've had zero issues since switching from GooLoo to this one. Overall it isn't "too smart" to the point it becomes annoying or useless, and when fully charged has even managed to help start my 5.9L Cummins diesel pusher class A RV. Super easy to use and has basic safety features built in. I love its overall size and portability. If you do not have a 60 watt power supply with a matching cable, it will take a little while to charge, however. Though as long as I remember to plug it in overnight after using it I've had no issues with it usually being fully recharged by the following morning. I've had Snap-On jump boxes that didn't last more than two years before no longer working. So far about 6 months in and this one is still working great!

Excellent !

Very poor . Fails to start most vehicles when other units work
