Bought my set in 2009 and my son’s set in 2025! That says a lot!
I bought this set along with a few additional pieces back in 2009. This set has held up wonderfully. I cook a lot, a whole lot! I’ve cooked countless meals for my family (including 2 hungry boy teens, husband, friends and family) with this cookware. It performs fantastic! Food does not stick and it’s easy to clean. It holds temperature perfectly. When my college age son, who is in grad school wanted a good set of pots and pans this year for Christmas, I was amazed this was still available! The exact same set was for sale in 2025. He was excited to get such a great set! I feel it will truly last him a lifetime. I also like that I can give him some of the extra pieces I bought years ago to match. .The exact set. That says a lot about the quality and popularity! These pots have been thrown into the cabinet and not pampered. No dents. No defects. Still work perfectly after all these years. My daughter in law cleaned them up really nice (bottoms of all pans get discolored over time). They looked like brand new. Light scratches inside from years of cooking but that doesn’t affect the performance. I don’t baby my pans. They are workhorses in my kitchen. If these seem a little expensive, keep watching the price or wait until Prime Days/Black Friday. I’m just thrilled they still make this set and I could gift a new set to my son! I will probably be gifting another set to my other son next year. Great job Cuisinart! 10/10 A+++

Pleasantly surprised
Got this on Prime Day to replace my 17 year old Calphalon Hard Anaodized set we received as a wedding gift. I figured I would order this, decide which one I liked more and give one to my sone who is moving out for the first time. The Calphalon was hard used nad coupld have been taken care of better but teaching three kids (and my wife) to cook put it to it's test, so was showing it's age and I was looking for something 'prettier' for when we had people over. Out of the box: - Everythign was packaged well (both original packaging and the Amazon packaging). - The individual pieces were heavy (which I was worried they would seem flimsy, totally not the case). Welds are sturdy for handles and finish was perfect. - Ever single piece seemed to be one size smaller that what I had with my old set. The sizes should be fine for an average family but if you often cook for 10 or more, plan on ordering some of the larger pieces. - The stickers on the lids were annoying to remove but not a big deal. Cooking: - Eveything works great with my ceramic cookrange. Heating is even. It does seem to retain heat better than my old set and if you're going to turn it down right before something boils over you're going to be a few minutes too late ;-) - I do use my cast iron for searing meat and cooking eggs, so I can't comment on how it browns.meat. - I have not gone from range to oven with these yet but don't see it being an issue. - Handles remain cool which is great. Cleaning - No issues so far with cleaning them and them looking like new! I am on a well with a lot of minerals so water spots keep me busy. I have not run them through the dishwasher and probably never will. Overall: - My son is enjoying the old Calphalon set in his apartment! I think my wife really likes these too but just wont admit it. You may need to buy a few larger pieces depending on your cooking style (12 Qt stockpot was a must have, it's wider and taller than the 8Qt that comes with this set). I have a few other pieces on my wish list that I'll be ordering over the next couple of months, but I must admit I'm surprised that a set that cost half as much as the Calphalon set performs as well as this does! Stainless is a change, but it hasn't been a bad one for me, This is a great set and I'm glad I gave it a shot.

Good warranty support
First, I like that the pot lids fit the two frying pans perfectly. After a few uses, I noticed that one frying pan's handle was subtly askew, like a broken nose. After noticing that, I couldn't stop focusing on that manufacturing imperfection. I called their customer support and she immediately asked for my address and had a replacement on its way. She stated that they have a lifetime warranty. That won me over, as now I'm confident that if they warp due to no fault of my own, I'll be covered. (I read a well known online review group that said the pans had a tendency to warp, but Cuisinart's warranty service has put me at ease assuming I don't do anything stupid, such as dumping a hot pan into a sink of water. ) The pans seems to cook just fine and I am happy with their performance. My stainless steel experience is minimal as most of my previous cooking experience has been with cast iron and carbon steel. The tri-ply does spread that heat out much better and more quickly than CI or CS, but SS requires more oil than a well seasoned CI or CS. Either way, all three types clean up well. As far as style, they are polished on the inside and the last centimeter on the upper outer edge. The bottom and most of the sides are brushed. The lids are polished. At least when they are brand new, the mirror like reflection the Cuisinart insides is very attractive. They are very pretty and I almost didn't want to risk spoiling the pretty pans by actually cooking in them. With baking soda, vinegar, some elbow grease, and towel drying, I'm able to keep the pans shiny and nice looking. I have a 12 inch frying pan from the Brazilian brand and that's brushed on the inside and polished on the outside and brushed on the outside bottom. Neither style is better, just different. Compared to the Brazilian pan, the Cuisinart seems to be a bit heavier in construction, but hard to definitely say since I'm comparing a 12" of the other company to smaller frying pans from Cuisinart. I have no real preference between one company's rounded handles vs. Cuisinart's flatter style. Overall, I think the pans are a great value, especially when bought during the November discount season. I don't think my cooking would be any better with one of the more expensive brands and I'm not going to freak out as these pans gather the inevitable scratches over the years or get abused by my kids. Sometimes there's good mental value to owning something functional, but not fashionable so I won't be inclined to be worried over it like I (imagine) I'd be with a new luxury car. I wish the Cuisinart were not made in China, but at least Cuisinart is American owned, unlike Al...ad which is now owned by a French conglomerate. Still, I'd prefer something not made in a country that we at political odds with, so the made in Brazil pans are attractive in that sense.

Great Cookware Set with Minor Cosmetic Discoloration
I’ve been very happy with this cookware set overall. The pans feel sturdy, heat evenly, and perform well for everyday cooking. Food cooks consistently, and the different sizes are useful for a variety of meals. After a few uses, I noticed some rainbow-like discoloration on the stainless steel. At first I was concerned, but I found that it was only cosmetic and came off easily with a little oil and light scrubbing. The cookware still looks great and performs exactly as it should. Other than that, I have no complaints. The set feels well made, cleans up nicely, and has been a great upgrade for my kitchen. If you’re new to stainless steel cookware, don’t be alarmed if you see some discoloration from heat. It’s normal and easy to remove. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this set and would recommend it.

Unbelievable value and quality
I am so impressed. High quality, tri-ply, and the perfect amount and size of pans. If you need a step-up from your starter set or you are looking for a starter set that will last you 20 years, this is it. This set also has the rivets in the handles where they meet the pan (not welds but rivets) and that is important to know for endurance. If you are thinking that the price is too good to be true know that these are authentic Cuisinart pans and the craftsmanship and heaviness of the pans left me no doubt that they are exactly as described. For those of you who have not cooked with stainless pans before, use low heat, put oil in pan AFTER it is a bit heated up and then add your food. Research and review videos online about using stainless steel to cook in. These are not not-stick pans so you have to use them differently but you can get the exact same results and minimal cleanup, if you research how to use stainless steel pans for cooking. Using anything above medium heat in these pans, will cause scorching and food sticking. Also, don't move your food or flip it right away once you put it in the pan, give it some time to gel and congeal and that will also prevent sticking and the food falling apart when you flip it. For example, to cook an egg, heat the pan on low to medium heat for 2 minutes, then add a bit of butter or oil, give that a bit of time to heat up but do not let it smoke (if it smokes, it is too hot!). Then add your egg, let the egg sit for a while before flipping it or moving it or scrambling it. You need to let the egg congeal a bit on the bottom so it will not stick to the pan when you move or flip it. This will be trial and error but eventually, you will know when to flip it or scramble it. If you move or scramble it to soon, it will stick to the bottom of the pan and it will fall apart and the pan will be more difficult to clean. When you are done using the pan, do not put it into the sink in cold or hot water. You will ruin your pan. Instead, let the pan sit on the stove with the heat off for a while. Then pour some warm or hot water into the pan and let it soak. This will make it very easy to clean, Also, if you have residue in the pan after a normal cleaning, use Bar Keepers friend to scrub away the residue. This has worked for me 100% of the time with all stainless cookware I have ever used, including these pans. If you ever have a really really bad scalding stain in the pan, use Bar Keepers friend and a crushed up bit of regular aluminum foil. Then use the foil like a scrub pad and it will remove anything left in the pan (aluminum is softer than steel so it won't ruin your pan but test it first on the bottom on your pan just in case you are skeptical it will work on your set...I take no responsibility for this technique working on all stainless steel pans but I have never had it fail on any of mine and I have never scratched or ruined a pan using this technique on the pans I own or have owned). I once bought an old stainless pan at a thrift store that was charred and black inside and out. Using this technique, I restored it to almost new. It does work but it can be a bit so be patient with it and rest if you get tired or conscript a family member to help. LOL. Three are videos online as to how to season stainless steel pans for cooking as well but I have never found this necessary. This is NOT the same as seasoning cast iron so do not use THAT technique on these pans. You can look those videos up as to how to season a stainless pan to make it more non-stick yourself and decide if you want to do that. Yes, you can sear steaks and meat and anything else in this pan just don't turn that burner up to High like you do with other cookware. What is very important to know about stainless is that using high heat is never going to be necessary and is almost always counterproductive to both the cooking of the food and the cleanup and the preservation of the pan. You may or may not know your stove very well and how the different controls impact the burner/flame but that is very important in cooking overall and very important to using stainless for cooking. My point is, that if you are not used to cooking with stainless pans that are not non-stick, you will have a bit of a learning curve so do not assume that what temp you used on your stove in the past to cook on your previous cookware, will work as well on these pans. Experiment and plan to spend a bit more time initially in using these pans to see what works and what doesn't when you are cooking your favorite foods. I found that it took me a bit more time on lower heat to cook things initially until I was able to determine the right setting on my burner as well as how long it took for the pan to heat up before I added the oil and then how long it took before the oil was perfect temp before I added the food. Once I got used to all those variable, my time spent cooking was always consistent and I never had to think about it again when I went to use my stainless pans. These pans are going to last decades and will be heavily used by my family and me. I will be buying more of these pans in the future to round out this very well thought out set of 12.

They last!
This is my third time buying this set. I bought it for myself, a niece & just recently for a young woman I mentor. (I bought another niece the set that preceded this one). I got the set for the nieces to replace their teflon sets because I I wanted them to be preparing safe food for them & their children. My nieces & I have been using this set for at least 10 to 15 years. They work wonderfully. My nieces tell me that they still use them & love them. I bought this particular set because of the aluminum core going up the sides like they do for All Clad (which I could not afford). There are others that can compare the two brands. I have found this set to be sturdy & a good weight. Not too light nor too heavy. They provide good sears on food & are pretty easy to clean. If I end up with another young adult in the family starting out, I’ll be getting them this set as well. It should last them years as it already has the rest of us.

Not All-Clad tri-ply but a Very Good Alternative
2 1/2 year update: the pans get frequent use and are going strong. The small fry pan is used daily is not gleaming but very good. All the others still look new even though they are used often! Original review: I am a serious cook and take my pans seriously. I have All Clad pans at home that I collected over the years and had the stainless steel Cuisinart pans at my Mom's where we often cook for her. The Cuisinart Stainless Steel pans just did not cut it for me so when another family member declared their love for them, I used it as an opportunity to upgrade. I had hoped for a small All Clad set but quelled at the price. These pans are a wonderful option! They are not the same as All Clad but to be honest, I have a hard time justifying $1,000 more for the functional difference. I know they are made in China, I just had to let that one go. I could not afford the difference. (If you do want similar pans not made in China, the Cuisinart French Chef set is EU made and a nice alternative). On the plus side, the handles are very nice, I wish my All Clad had equally nice ones. I also adore the size of the saute pan. It is deeper than standard so I tossed things out less. I cooked a large pot of sauteed cabbage with a cream sauce in it and nothing stuck or jumped out. I was very pleased with the heat-to-no-scorch ratio with the sauce. On the negative side, if you can say comparing $240 pan set to a $1299 pan set is fair, the pans are not quite as sturdy as the All Clad and they don't clean up quite as easily. For example, when I steamed rice, it came out of the pan in a nice "cake" but there was a hint of the rice pattern left on the pan which required scrubbing. My All Clad would have come clean in the dishwasher. The lids are clearly not as sturdy but they function. I think there would be a much smaller margin of "oops error" if you over heated the pan but I don't know that and hope never to find out! If you are looking for a well-priced stainless steel or tri-ply cooking set I can strongly endorse this one.

Every bit as lovely as a set of All Clad! Thank you Cuisinart! 4 years later, still in love.
I've agonized over which pots and pans to purchase. If they're taken care of, they'll last you a lifetime. I grew up admiring Martha Stewart and Julia Child. I enjoy watching Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa.) My favorite dishes to make are chicken and mango fajitas with orange and lime, my Aunt's lasagna recipe with beef and Italian sausage and four cheeses. I've been known to make gyros from scratch, baklava for holidays. I contemplated copper cookware, but I couldn't afford the Mauviel copper sets made in France. I have always loved 18/10 stainless. 18/0 hasn't much weight to it. I didn't want hard anodized cookware, or porcelain ceramic. I didn't want something inexpensive. Lagostina seemed it might be a great second choice. I went to Bed, Bath & Beyond simply to look at the Lagostina. For $2K, Mauviel copper cookware has a base of 2.5 mm thick. For $399.00, Lagsotina's copper set is 2.3 mm thick. I also examined the Lagostina stainless steel for $199.00 on sale. The lids seemed to wobble on the cookware. An annoyance I couldn't live with. Copper is a fabulous conductor of heat and it's beautiful. However, it cannot be placed in the dishwasher, it discolors with a bluish green patina, and must be polished with Wright's copper cream or Bar Keepers Friend, or a fresh lemon and salt to restore original color. Too much upkeep for me for everyday use. I felt stainless steel is the way to go. Non stick is only nice if you don't cook with E.V. olive oil, or any fats. Through researching, Martha Stewart said,; 'ALL CLAD; is the greatest cookware on the planet, and it's American made.' if that's important to you. I looked at All Clad at Bed Bath& Beyond. Oh, it was lovely! The heaviest cookware. I picked up some Cuisinart MCP and held it in my hand. I was seriously impressed. I researched the weight of each of the pieces, because that matters. If you want cheap, go to Walmart. I'm not trying to knock Walmart. Martha Stewart said, "Buy what you can afford." Amazon Prime had this priced normally at $670.00 suggested retail. This entire set of Cuisinart Multi Clad Pro, 12 piece stainless steel cookware for $205.00 without sales tax. I was SOLD. It arrived in early 2018, I was thrilled! USPS delivered it to my doorstep. I couldn't even pick up the box as it's very heavy. I scooted it across the foyer, through the living room, right into my kitchen and parked it in front of my stove. I'm in love. This stuff is AMAZING!! Here's another thing that sold me quickly. I believe this is oven proof to 500 or 550 degrees. It pours nicely directly from the pieces themselves. Brilliantly designed. Remember, after FOUR years, mine still looks like the day it arrived. Bar Keepers Friend powdered cleanser/polish is your best friend. (Wear gloves.) For the weirdos who don't know how to cook, if it sticks, you're doing it wrong. I had my 10" MCP pan on medium to cook pancakes this morning, and even on medium, it was a tad too hot for pancakes. This MCP conducts heat beautifully. I'm not using metal scouring pads on this cookware. I want it to stay beautiful. I have a green nylon scouring pad, and a stiff dishwashing brush. I want my cookware to look beautiful always, and it's dishwasher safe. I am looking forward to using the steamer insert to steam fresh veggies! The stock pot in this set is eight quarts, very ample for a pot of chicken soup or clam chowder from scratch. I love the eight inch pan, it will be great for omelettes! I sautéed chicken last night, made rice, and broccoli. This cookware set is perfect!!!! Buy what you can afford. (Hint fo the day: You do NOT need oil to warm up a tortilla. Place a circular piece of parchment paper in your pan. It works like charm.)

Well worth the price
We have now owned this set for 5 years and just ordered the larger 4 qrt saucepan to round out our set. They still look amazing and have no damage after daily use. We purchased for use on our new induction stove and couldn't be more pleased. When pots say induction on them there is a big difference between the cheaper pots and these. We had purchased a 4 qrt from Winners Homesense and never heated as efficiently as the Cuisinart ones. Always took much longer to come to a boil and the glass lid broke after 2 years. I should know better to stick with the better option

Best Value not Best Quality
Firstly, I’ve given this cookware set a 5 out of 5 based on ‘best value’ not ‘best quality’. Secondly, I place considerably more trust in reviews from America's Test Kitchen (ATK) / CenturyLife.Org than most user reviews. Similarly, I expect readers of this review to treat it on a ‘for information only’ basis. In a nut-shell the Cuisinart MCP-12N Multiclad Pro Stainless Steel 12 x piece cookware set is a Chinese made equivalent of the USA made 3D All-Clad range. A great comparison review was written by CentryLife. The only addition I can make to their review is that the sides of the Cuisinart fry pans/skillets are noticeably steeper than that or the All-Clad, as seen in the picture (All-Clad 3D left / Cuisinart right). As noted in the ATK review of 12” skillets, these steeper sides may be detrimental under some circumstances. These two fry pans are comparable in almost every other respect, aside from cost. The Cuisinart Multiclad Pro saucepans do show watermarks more than the All-Clad, these can be removed with Barkeepers Friend. The entire 12 x piece Cuisinart MCP-12N set was only $20 more than my 1 x Demeyere Proline Frying Pan, so my expectations are adjusted accordingly. I believe the performance gap between Demeyere and All-Clad is significantly more than the gap between All-Clad and Cuisinart. High quality workhorse skillets can be purchased at a later date, if required. The Cuisinart set is worth it for the saucepans and stockpot alone, the skillets are an entry point bonus.
