I use a CGM (continuous glucose monitor), and after several months, I could see the difference in real time. There are some days my blood sugar goes through the roof, and I take metformin, but it doesn't really take effect immediately. I wait a few hours, and if it's still too high, I take berberine and my blood sugar drastically drops very quickly and a lot and then continues to steadily lower over the next few hours. I've watched and varied combinations with the metformin and the berberine, and whatever it's doing, it's effective and visible. Some nights, I am tempted to not take metformin or just half a pill before I go to bed because it's already pretty low before going to bed (100-120). I'm afraid to wake up to my sensors going off telling my blood sugar is dangerously too low. I really found effectiveness from consistency as seen in experiments, one pill 2x a day. I took took this product for blood sugar control and it seems to work. I take it after dinner because at end of day and at nightmy sugar spikes. In the morning drinking drinking water, Ive been able to remain under 100. Capsules sometimes have a bad taste but tolerable. I refuse to take blood sugar perscription meds for my "pre-diabetic" condition. Also I dont eat after 9pm
