It probably took a couple months of use before it went away completely, but that beats 3 years any day!!Just bought some more to get rid of another one!My only gripe was that I struggled to get the lid off sometimes, and after using my teeth, and then trying grips, I eventually worked out a knack of squeezing the sides of the lid and pulling/wiggling to get it off. ### ⭐ The new applicator is useless.
