It goes through all different models of healthcare and explains it with examples of patient cases. It also explains the differences between the US system and Germany, Japan, UK, and Canada. I now feel confident in my knowledge of exactly how different types of insurance models work... I am very happy I had to read this and this is one of the few books that I feel teach you a ton in the lightest way possible. Review: Great book, as far as textbooks go. - This is a very interesting book. I had to read the whole thing for a graduate school course (nursing). It is written in a very straight forward, readable style and explains things very well. It addresses many aspects of health care issues in the U.S. and also has a chapter comparing our system with those of a few other countries with similar issue and economies. Price was reasonable for a textbook. You will come away from reading this book supporting universal health care!

Nice book for healthcare workers
The book that I had bought was described as very good but for me, it was like a new one. It also arrived earlier than the expected date of arrival. Havenโt read it yet but I am sure this will help me in my post-graduate studies.
