Not worth the money - design faults
For a childs cup at over £20 expectations were for something of at least reasonable quality. There's a couple of very poor design features that really let it down. Firstly the sprung hinge is only a piece of silicon acting like an eastic band - likley to wear and fail quickly. Secondly, the locking mechanism is really poor, there's no real feedback when closing the lid that the clip has engaged and its actually quick hard to close, not great for a child. The 'spring' for the locking clip is actually the clear plastic nipple used to drink through and removable for cleaning. Seems like a money saver to me rather than something that works well. I think I'll be sending it back unused.
