Unlike traditional 'weights', GravityFX Resistance Bands adjust tension throughout the entire movement. Even during the return phase of the exercise, known as a 'negative", force is exuded, thereby providing continuous resistance throughout the entire exercise. The band is made from high quality rubber with nylon fabric sleeve. The band and webbing ends are secured by an innovative locking lug that prevents slippage. For added safety and enhanced durability the band is covered with a protective fabric sleeve. By protecting the resistance bands with a high quality fabric sleeve, the risk of the bands being cut or grazed is significantly reduced. The fabric sleeve also restricts stretching - close to the upper limit - which reduces the incidence of over stretching. The fabric sleeve also significantly reduces injury risk in the event a band snaps, as movement is contained within the sleeve.
