A: Not if you're doing body work. This is metal based epoxy. You should buy a can of expanding foam and use that. Then use the extra as hair mousse.

A: Hi Richard! Thank you for your question. No, the 3M 90451 Bondo Metal Reinforced Filler would not be the appropriate product for your application. Due to the stress and vibrations in the wheel area, the Bondo will crack under those conditions.

**Q: Rust remover for metal**
A: It's not a rust remover. Its used to patch breaks in metal.

**Q: Can I use this to waterproof a car trunk screw hole? Trunk does slam to shut.**
A: The Bondo® Metal Reinforced Filler is a water proof filler, however when using a filler to fill in holes, a phenomenon known as “Ghosting” can appear days later after the repair is completed showing the outline of the hole creating a undesirable visual appearance.  This is due to the expansion and contraction of the different material at different rates. The proper repair procedure would be to completely weld them shut to prevent this from happening.

Can is 4 inches tall and 3 1/4 inches wide.Yes a bit pricey but so is the other leading brands.This stuff dries hard as a rock...you really dont need much hardener...its a clear liquid(the hardener)so a bit tricky to use but just use an amount equal to whats in the can....so 1/4 cans worth of bondo..use 1/4 of the tube.Mix it up...you dont have to mess with it fold it over 10 times and its done....its going to harden..dont worry.... it is a bit hard to sand when put on thick but thats what grinders are for...lol.Again its solid as a rock...i cant attest to longevity.I fill big rust holes with spray styrofoam...and then knock it back a little then fill with this bondo.I have fixed big holes in rocker panels this way with good results.Not perfect mind you but from 10 feet away you cant tell and it passes inspection.
