Exact line markings and point markings can be implemented quickly and precisely with the refillable lead holder. At the top of the lead holder is a button with an eraser lead. The scope of delivery includes 8 white and 8 colored leads, the chalk lead holder and a special sharpener for the chalk leads. The lead holder is already equipped with a white lead. The little sharpener works very well and helps maintain a fine point to the tip. I tried to use the "sticks" without putting them into the pen holder, but managed to break a few - I don't advise doing it! The sticks are quite fragile so need to be handled carefully and stored in the provided holder.

These work really well and having the different colours has been really helpful for marking on different coloured fabrics. The little sharpener works very well and helps maintain a fine point to the tip. I tried to use the "sticks" without putting them into the pen holder, but managed to break a few - I don't advise doing it! It doesn't mark the fabric as well as other chalk. That's my only take on it. I tried 5he white and the blue. It takes a lot of pressure to get it to mark the fabric. Not very helpful especially with jersey or knit fabric that moves around easily and has a lot of stretch to it.
