I wiill definitely keep using this!
I got the silica supplement for my tomatoes, when starting from seed. I have heard that this helps strengthen the stems in hydroponics systems, so I thought that I'd try it, as I often have trouble when transplanting tomatoes in spring - the wind will often snap them off! I did not have this happen once this season (twice with 60-80 mph. winds!), after using a small amount of this for every other watering (about 12 drops of the solution/gal of water). This used very little of it, yet is seemed to help strengthen the stems considerably. I also used it for tomatillos, which I have found to be so flimsy that I usually have to stalk the seedlings, and they were very strong this time - the first time ever! I am also using it outdoors in Earthboxes, which are sort of like hydroponics, with a reservoir of water wicked up into the soil mix, and I put 1/4 tsp solution per week into each reservoir, and the tomatoes are much stronger than previously - I only had one broken branch so far, out of 20 plants! This is incredible, considering how little I have actually used so far.

Great for soil, needed in hydroponics......
Soluble silica 7.8% is an economical product for use in your garden. Why pay a premium for silica that is pre-mixed with water and packaged with a fancy label? Most farmers know the extraordinary benefits of using silica as a part of their plant feeding schedules. There are two main benefits of adding silica to your plants, first, silica is taken up by the root system and is immediately dispersed throughout the entire plant; becoming the inter-cellular cement. This cement is not consumed by the plant and will remain throughout the entire plants life. The silica will help retain water longer, and provide stronger branching to support heavy fruits (think tomatoes). The second benefit is recognized as a pest deterrent. When silica is mixed and made into a foliar spray, pests such as spider mites will soon disappear. Spider mites consume the silica and as a result, swell and explode. As a consequence of consuming silica sprayed on leafs, the spider mite population quickly dwindles to unnoticeable levels. Additional benefits of silica can also be seen in controlling molds and mildews by strengthening the plants immune system prior to these pathogens taking a foot hold on your plants. Soluble silica 7.8% is economical in the manner of dosage, typically I use the following dosages, 2ml per gallon during vegetative phase, 1ml per gallon during flowering or fruiting stage, and 1ml per 32oz sprayer (foliar spray). Another great tip: I have had great success in mixing neem oil and soluble silica for pest control(no wetting agent was required) So for a 32oz sprayer I would add 6.5oz of neem oil, 1ml of soluble silica and the rest water. One package makes 32ozs of solution (approx 1 Liter), so depending on how many gallons you need to make and what rates you are using, the 32oz can yield you between 500-1000 gallons, this equates to approximately 0.01 and 0.02 cents per gallon (respectively).

Quality and quantity for a cheap price
Very cheap and easy to use. Works fine, I just sprinkle a little in a cup then fill it with water or sprinkle some over the top soil before watering and the plants look very healthy now. Keep in mind I use very little at a time.

I love this stuff
I love this stuff, once I started feeding my plants with this they grew big and strong, the package is small but you end up with a lot, it makes 32 oz and all you need is a tsp per gal of water

I used this on about 20 plants. Seemed to strengthen branches somewhat. I am still using it on my second crop. If you are growing heavy fruit . it never hurts to help the plant support the goods

I have also used your Skunk Labs Beneficial Soluble Powder with very good results. I have used Great Whites product before
[commMgrHmdToken:AFP4VCHU9C6MW]--- Original message ---Hi, your Silicate 7.8 has worked well for me. When compared to Advanced Nutrients Silicone product Silicate 7.8 worked just as well. Plus the added benefit that Silicate 7.8 cost far less than the Advanced Nutrient product. Also Silicate 7.8 is in powder form. You get enough product to make twice as much as you get from Advanced Nutrients. I have also used your Skunk Labs Beneficial Soluble Powder with very good results. I have used Great Whites product before. Skunk Labs Beneficial Powder work as good or better at keeping you roots happy. It also has Kelp Humic acid and Vitamin B in it they are all beneficial to plants. Skunk Labs Beneficial Powder is also less expensive than Great White. I would give both of these products a 5 star rating. Thank you From: Skunk Labs Horticulture - Amazon Marketplace <[e-mail address removed]>
