The hat is great, not sure what that drape thing is for. The only purpose I can see for it is to tickle your neck.

Best hat for blocking heat and UV rays.
Out of all the hats I have tried, this one is by far the absolute best for blocking out heat, UV rays and sun. I wish it were better looking as I feel like a “beekeeper” wearing it, but it is worth it 100%. You can literally feel a temperature difference while wearing it.

Great sun protection hat
Great sun protection hat, and I love that the flaps are easily detachable. It's sturdy, lightweight, durable, and breathable. It's helpful that the size can be adjusted, as I have a small-ish head, apparently (I am a petite woman anyway, so no surprise to me really). Of course, in an opposing wind the flaps blow around, but I expected that. I liked it so much that I bought a second one in a different color, as they are also a great price. Wish they came in white!

Will protect you from sun
I bought one for my husband and my father for christmas. This hat is ALMOST excessive in coverage. Both my husband and dad really like this hat and it protects their necks from sunburn, which my mom and I like.

Brim not wide enough
I like the multiple curtains but the brim was not wide enough for me. I needed a full face shade and the brim provided shade up to my upper lips. In the screenshot, you can see how far the shade will reach- either upper lips or high cheekbone and nose bridge. I have to keep my head down 100% of the time if I want full shade. Back of neck is totally covered but the front leaves me wanting more. I like the bright blue color, it’s vibrant and will be easy to spot in thicker wooded areas. I also like that even though the buttons are snap on, they’re not flimsy. Drawstring is also a plus.

Great hat!
My girlfriend loves this hat and looks so good in it. It blocks out the sun perfectly and is stylish. The colour is fantastic.

Great hat
Absolutely love this hat it provides full coverage of the face and the neck it’s breathable easy to clean. I’ve used this every day during the summer heat this year in Australia highly recommended buying a few as spare in the car at work so light too. 10/10
