The pics in my review are the results used on a 1997 Ford Ranger with original paint. No, this colored wax is not going to cover all of your scratches, but that's not its intended purpose. It did however, do a nice job on the micro cracking on my 26 year old paint. I didn't use a mechanical buffer... I simply used a cloth diaper to apply it and buffed it off with a dry towel. For bottle of product that was less than $10, I am extremely happy with the purchase.

Dont buy this product if your paint is faded. It works ok as a general wax but it does not have enough pigment to make a difference in restoring depth to the color.

As a wax, it works great. If the car finish has a scratch that goes to the white base, this wax won’t hide it. This product will definitely turn your rag along with your hands, red. Drys red so wax doesn't leave those white areas in seams.

I purchased a red 2005 Ford SUV in 2023 due to instant love. Although it had been well cared for and garaged, slight scratches appeared all over. This wax made many disappear and others appear to not be noticeable. It went on easily, as does carnuba wax, and buffed easily. I could not take my eyes off the results. As for as wearability, it depends on how you wash your auto. Car washes can remove any type of wax in due course. So I am using a car wash facility that allows you to spray on a quick soak, then I softly spray it off, then use soft water rinse. You also need to use gloves and clothing that may get a bit of red color on them.
