Ready Seal Exterior Wood Stain & Sealer, Natural Light Oak, 1 Gallon

I’ve had my eye on Ready Seal for a while and finally decided to try for our gate. I wanted something quick/easy and this stain absolutely delivered!!The application was so simple and forgiving. You really CAN’T mess this stuff up!! I used a lambswool stain pad, roller, and brush, and all three worked great. It went on smoothly and made the whole project feel effortless.We also have two older weathered posts beside the gate that we plan to replace eventually, but I used a rag to apply some stain to them for some extra protection in the meantime. Even on those, it soaked in nicely and improved the look.I chose the Natural color, and I will say it looked darker than I expected when I first opened the can. Once applied, though, the color turned out beautiful and was exactly what I wanted. My husband was impressed and loves the color too.I highly recommend Ready Seal, especially if you’re new to staining. It’s easy to apply, very forgiving, and gives a beautiful finish without making the project stressful!

I like the color and it went on evenly. Covered the square footage as stated. The biggest issue is not with the product. 1st order late a few days. 2nd order cancelled and money refunded. 3 order ( reordered) was very late. I can buy this product from my local lumber yard or Home Depot for a few dollars more. My 2nd shift schedule makes it easier to order from Amazon. When I need more, I’ll buy it locally.

It looks really good. It doesn't go far. The wood sucks it right up. You MUST keep stirring throughout doing it or it will be unevenly colored. It's a great product.

Good product, easy to use.

This is my go to wood stain for my outdoor ramp and deck. It’s a penetrating oil so it lasts longer and really gets down into the wood to preserve it better than just surface level stains. I love the color brand new roof and you can still see the wood grain too.
