After reading some of the other reviews about this lens, I think some reviewers either don't understand what this lens is for, or don't understand how to use it. Let me offer a few points: 1. This lens is designed to be used with Micro series cameras (Micro 2.0 or Micro 3.0) or the RM (ReefMaster) -4k camera. It is not designed to work with the DC 2000 camera, and will not fit that system. 2. This is a "wet" lens. It is designed to be used underwater. It will make the best images when there is a thin layer of water between the front lens of the camera and the rear element of the lens. It can be used out of water, and will still make good images, but that's not what it's primarily designed for. Mine came brand new in the packaging, with all the accessories. I think this lens is a nice piece however I only snorkel and I don't get close enough under water to the object ... so it doesn't magnify correctly ... however if you put something within the viewing range that they suggest it is beautiful... **Q: What camera does it fit, DC 2000?** A: No, designed for the micro camera. I had to return it. The Sealife 5720 10x close up lens works and fits the DC2000, but they have not made a holder to store it on the base when not in use. I bought it and asked the Sealife company if they were available...not as yet for the storage clamp. **Q: Does this fit the Sealife 3.0 camera also?** A: Yes, works very well with the Micro 3.0 - bear in mind the focus range is quite narrow from about 3.5" to 7".
