The pouch is adequate but not huge and holds you in very tightly - very similar to the Speedo. I'm reasonably well-endowed and there are no side-junk views. What is different than the Speedo is that these are very low rise (and obviously these are a thong). So, these should be great for unencumbered swimming and sunning, but not so much for posing.
