The actual unit is easy to install but need to take caution not to be to rough because the items are made of plastic, same with the original one in the car. I was surprised how the actual connections are there in my car like the one in the installation video! Pro: -Easy install -Seamlessly looks like part of the car -Great video quality (sample for day and night posted) -Great app: has option for duration of each file like 1 min up to 10 min each- has audio recording option too. Easy to connect to the device from phone. -So far does well even if the car is hot from the sun on startup. Con -Price, but I guess it was worth it for me Hopefully this holds for a very long time in my Highlander =]

Really nice camera at a great value compared to OEM. Installation was very easy and instructions were very good. Eat to convert to my phone. Resolution is great. Looks perfect when installed, can’t even tell the camera if there.

Works great, easy to install, good quality video and looks good. Can't really even tell it wasn't made by Toyota. One feature I have not hooked up is the parked feature, that requires an extra wire and its not really needed in my case. Overall. I would recommend this camera to the average person who wants to record their everyday driving. If needing it for the park you will have to buy the add on wires and that requires a hook up in the fuse box. Beyond what I am comfortable doing.

Great dash cam. looks factory. Took about 20mins from install until viewing recording on my cell phone. Installed on 2022 Highlander and very easy install, be sure to lay towel or similar on dash as large piece will fall while disassembling. The reason for 4 stars is due to on iphone 12 I have to turn off cellular data before dashcam will connect to wifi, once connected I can toggle back on but otherwise works great

Had to disconnect as it interfered with my safety systems, presumably involved with plugging the kit wiring harness into the harness in the mirror housing. Also when initially hooking up very difficult to press fit one of the bullet connectors. Bummer.

So far, the FitCamX for my 2024 Toyota Highlander has been wonderful. Installation was easy - it took about 20 minutes, thanks to a number of excellent YouTube video's. The video quality is 4k and outstanding; The camera and housing integrate so well into the windshield, you don't even notice the dash cam. The only annoyance - which isn't an issue with the FItCamX, is that in order to use the FitCamX app for viewing video's, I must turn off bluetooth/apple CarPlay. This is a limitation of the network connection and not the camera or app.

This camera worked well in our Highlander. We had an accident and it gave us a clear view of what happened.

First I watched a video on YouTube there’s a good one with a black guy installing into a Highlander Platinum, after watching the mistakes and fixes he took with the wiring harness, the install took me between 10 to 15 minutes watch the video helps to know were to tuck the harness. Took more time figuring out the app than the install, picture quality was excellent. Only installed the front camera. I notice some people didn’t like the camera picture looks like you have to setup the app for the picture quality. Also as suggested bought a high endurance sd card for 22.00 at Walmarts.

the camera works very well, it is very well placed and has very good quality for both day and night.

It seems like Toyota produced this camera for its car. Fits perfectly, works perfectly and it was very easy to install. It’s almost invisible. Image quality is very good
