WEN 73011T 250 lb. Capacity Rolling Mechanic Seat with Onboard Storage

Every year in the Spring I polish the aluminum wheels on my car and sit on a foot stool I made in high school to do it (I'm now 78). This year I will use a DA polisher to detail the car as well, which means getting down low to do the side panels. That foot stool doesn't roll around well so I went looking for a rolling mechanic's seat and found this WEN 73011T 250 lb. Capacity Rolling Mechanic Seat. There are several similar models on Amazon around the same price point, but this one had two additional features that I liked. One being the vertical supports on the side frames, and the other being the support straps under the seat. I thought these features would make the unit sturdier, and I was right. Once assembled, this thing feels rock solid. Assembly was easy but would have been easier if the instructions had been correct. The instructions say to assemble the two side frames to the lower frame and plastic pan, then add the seat straps and seat to the side frames. Lastly it says to install the caster wheels. Simple. Except that the two back casters cannot be installed if the rest of the unit is assembled. The Allen wrench needed to tighten the casters won't fit. The side frames must now be removed in order to tighten the casters to the lower frame. Tip: Install the casters to the lower frame and pan first, then assemble the side frames and seat. (I had forgotten another reviewer had mentioned that.) Aside from that, everything fits as it should. It's comfortable to sit on and rolls around nicely. Obviously, its meant for smooth floors and it will soon get plenty of use.

Great little seat which we use in a veterinary clinic to treat the big "hulkers" on the ground. Some of our vets and techs are not too light, but we just only replaced the original seat with another one after multiple years of brutalization. Worth every cent.

This is my third Mechanics rolling stool and by far my favorite.. Very sturdy and easy to assemble.. Heavy duty casters and rolls smoothly. You just can't beat the quality for this price. Highly recommend 👌

Hello! This little rolling seat is a sturdy, easy to use and carry seat. I like the tray below the seat and the ease with which it rolls with my 206 lbs squashing it. The only slight downsides for me were the size of the seat, (my behind feels like it's sitting on a postage stamp. I immediately began wondering if maybe I should've bought one with more of a wide 'tractor' style seat for my not THAT big behind.) I'd still use this one, but mostly for jobs where I wasn't sitting for more than an hour at a time. The other tiny issue I had was that during assembly one of the hidden 'T' nuts in the seats wooden base came loose and so I had to cut a small slit in the seats side vinyl to fish it out and put back in it's proper place. Not a big deal, just annoying. Over all, quality is adequate for the price point and it'll be fine for most of the things I'll use it for. I'd recommend it, especially if you're under 6' and 200lbs.

I bought one of these 9 years ago, and I just converted it to a small pressure washer/hose reel cart. This new one is just a good as the 9yr old original, and it will fulfil its role as a rolling seat for my garage. It works great for rolling around cleaning my tires/wheels.

It’s the perfect size and very sturdy, my husband loves it. Great price too.

Para empezar yo peso 82 kilos y me parece que es muy resistente, la charola es de plástico duro y tiene en la parte de abajo un buen soporte para que no se llegue a colgar. Resolvieron cada punto de seguridad y resistencia en el banco.
