Previously it had a name Selsun Anti dandruff treatment.Now it is Abbot Selsun. Now many companies have come. Selsun work's well for Anti dandruff and white patches fungal just apply a drop in the area for a hour,later it get good effect.This I did it 30 years ago.Now I started using again.

It works well for dandruff and/or fungus, that causes dry, flaky and/or itchy scalp. It works only when used regularly. But, regular use can cause damage to hair such as make hair, rough, frizzy, heavier and cause much faster greying of hair. For those with thyroid issues, it makes all hair related effects such as increased dry, frizzy, rough hair, much worse. The daily use varient is marginally better in that it causes all the same effects but causes damage to hair slightly lesser. But, needs to be used more frequently, undoing the advantages of the less intense damage to the hair. Please note I'm not a doctor and this is just feedback from what I have noticed from use over an extended period of time (read more than 6 months). Follow your Doctor's advice if this is recommended to you. Ask your doctor questions to judge if this product is the best fit for you.

I used it twice only as per directed and It works, no itchy, no dandruff. Then I switch back to my other shampoo. I will used it again if ever I feel itchy scalp.
