After eliminating cable tv and moving to streaming sticks throughout the home, we realized a moveable tv stand like this would be ideal. The perfect way to have just one tv for the space but still be accessible to all the different areas depending on the need at any given time. I read lots of reviews before selecting this stand and am really happy with it- took my time with the assembly instructions and was able to put it together with no problems. Agree with others that the construction is solid and the materials are good quality. Feels very secure moving over carpeted surface with no worries about tipping (48in tv). Love the touch of being able to conceal the wires also. My only criticism is the tv being able to slide horizontally on the stand- others have noted this and I agree it seems an odd oversight for something so well put together. In any case I purchased some 24in zip ties and used two of those to prevent the sliding.
