The color is just like the label - a pure, bright green when using a fine nib. Namiki cartridge ink is wonderful for use in Pilot pens; it always writes well. Some people say it is a lubricated ink. I can't confirm that, but I can affirm that it makes Pilot pens write optimally well. The ink dries on the paper (Rhodia or Clairefontaine) pretty quickly so I don't smudge it with my hand. My favorite so far is the pure Namiki blue, which has shading characteristics even in a fine point.
