This expanded edition of James Ellingtonยs preeminent translation includes Ellingtonยs new translation of Kantยs essay Of a Supposed Right to Lie Because of Philanthropic Concerns in which Kant replies to one of the standard objections to his moral theory as presented in the main text: that it requires us to tell the truth even in the face of disastrous consequences. Review: Five Stars - I loved the book. It states Kant's views clearly and is a useful aid to study. Review: Great value - Great price is better that just purchased at the university. He always used desertcart for University books better value for his money and fast delivery.

Good read. Can be found for FREE elsewhere.
Good book. Kant is good. But do yourself a favor and just read it online. PDFs are available everywhere as no one publisher has total rights to Kant's work.
