Review: Sturdy, Steady, Collapsable - You could probably bend one of these out of wire, but to make your work neater with less spills and easier, this filter holder fills the bill. The coupling between the two parts uses 4 set screws for a snug and reliable fit. Also the wire frame is of a sturdy gauge, about 3/16” dia., steel. The entire thing fits directly over a standard one gallon paint can so straining paint into one or anything smaller is an easy task.

**Q: What is the diameter of the hole at the top?**
A: 4" diameter.  Just right for standard paper strainer.

**Q: Is the height adjustable?**
A: No, the height is not adjustable.

**Q: Would this be helpful for other household uses such as draining the last drops of detegerents, liquid handsoaps or even ketchup and salad dressings?**
A: I don't see why not - you could probably use any appropriate sized cone filter, not just the ones you get at the paint store.

**Q: It says the package is 9" but how tall is this from base to filter opening?**
A: the stand comes in 2 pieces that you put together but assembled it stands 11 inches
