Works well on the gas stove. Nice fit

This fits my Spirit II great and it cooks great. I seasoned it and then grilled some messy food on the ribbed side. It was really a pain to clean. I seasoned it again in hopes that may help. Otherwise, I might stick to the flat side or not use the ribbed side for anything messy.

Update: Everything I said below in my earlier review is true, but, over time, I have really come to like this griddle a lot. I use it a lot. Like all cast iron, I recommend giving this a long pre-heat. I just upped it from 3 to 4 stars. ______________ This would be a perfect griddle if there were a gutter, or the edges were a tiny bit higher. The sides are so shallow that it's easy for grease or anything a bit fluid to go over the sides, which limits it's usefulness and makes for messy cooking. I bought this to replace the terrible-quality griddle that came with my LG range. There's only a narrow space over the oval burner in the center of the stovetop, and this is the only one I found that narrow enough to fit without interrupting other cooking too badly (It's a bit wider than the original -- in the attached photo, you can see that the width of the griddle goes over the allotted space). I'm very happy with the quality of the cast iron -- it's thick enough to cook well and retain heat well, but not so heavy that it's a burden to move around or get to the sink.

I have used this product both on our gas grill and on our gas stove top. I use this for making smash burgers and fajitas mainly. it is the perfect size and is easy to clean. It has two sides, one is grated and the other is flat. I have had no issues with rust, it is built as durable as my iron skillet, and the heat distributes evenly while cooking. It is versatile for both indoors and outdoors. I would take this camping in our RV.

I really love this griddle. I had bought it for my gas grill, however have not yet used it for that purpose. I have used it in the oven a lot. If you eat the canned biscuits as we often do at our house, this grill changes the quality of the result biscuit making it our preferred pan for biscuits and rolls. It works well for making home made rolls and buns. I know this was not my intended use, but it works so well, never sticking. We pre-treated the griddle, as you do with any cast iron, with oil and several hours at 150 in the oven. Beats any other non-stick pan I have seen. Highly recommended as I am sure it will be wonderful on the grill come summer. So easy to clean and use,

Great product, especially the reversible capability of a flat grill surface vs the couagated one. Used to grill on both surfaces with excellent results.
