Great product! And a very good price!

This stuff is great! No aftertaste and almost indistinguishable from sugar when tried by itself and once in coffee, tea,or food, you wouldn't know. Works 1:1 with any recipe except ones with yeast. My only (minor) complaints is that the granule size isn't always consistent between orders and on occasion there are big lumps to break up. My family has food allergies and one of those food allergies happens to be to sugar :( I was led to xylitol as a replacement that I could handle, and it has saved our life when it comes to craving desserts. Not only does it taste almost identical to regular sugar, but there is no nasty after taste and it doesn't spike our blood sugar levels (Which means no crazy kids afterwards!) This is also recommended by the dental association because it is much better for your teeth! Yay for xylitol! I recommend it to everyone whether you have problems with regular sugar or just trying to improve your health. This particular brand was the less expensive than the other brand that I was getting and I haven't seen any differences in it!

Yum! And good for you and your teeth. I'm a big believer in this product. It works. Don't eat too much at once, but remember, your body naturally produces small amounts of xylitol, so it knows how to use it. No spikes with diabetics (only 7% absorbs into the blood), and it allow bacteria to feed on it in the mouth, but they die because they cannot metabolize it, so it fights cavities too. Good for cooking almost anything that does NOT use yeast. I uses it in my oatmeal almost every morning. Get the birch tree versions, not the corn ones... Both are okay, but the birch tree xylitol is more natural, and not manufactured. It is truly a sugar (not a sugar alcohol), but doesn't feed bacteria due to a difference in the amount of carbons in the molecule.

Trying to purchase this is small cans in local markets is very expensive, and they don;t always stock it. Buying in bulk like this saves me money and time trying to hunt it down. There are supposed to be some health downsides but I think it is better than daily sugar in my coffee and with no funky aftertaste.
