can i bake the leaves individually and then put them on the baked pie?

Yes! With the leftover crust I bake only the leaves and then use them to decorate the plates. Bake time is way less though, can remember - I think maybe 5-7 min?

Has anybody cut out crackers with these? Did the dough release easily? Thanks!

Just pie dough but these cutters are spring loaded so the cutter self-ejects the cut/embossed dough. I’d thing any dough, including cracker dough, would be a good fit for these cutters.
