Sturdy loud and reliable
This clock is very well built. It's alarm is extremely loud incredibly easy to set alarm and very reliable

It works!
I was looking for a clock that ISN'T silent as I find the slow tick of a clock very soothing. I tried some vintage clocks that made sound but they were either too quiet or had a duplicated ticking sound. They also needed to be wound daily. This clock has the perfect ticking sound that I was looking for, is battery operated (no winding!), and is a beautiful nod to the past and the future. Sorry to the silent clock crew - this one's probably not for you! :)
