The vinyl I received from amazon was not vivid brand. Yes it had the vivid branded tube and stickers but the vinyl was not. I ordered directly from vivid and received a very high quality vinyl that I wouldn't hesitate to utilize as a racing strip. The stuff I got from amazon I wouldn't use to wrap a gift in. I doubt it would last a few days on anything. **Q: Will it comes off if I want to take it off ?** A: Heat, I used a hairdryer **Q: Does the adhesive require heat when you apply? No experience with vinyl wrapping but this seems more like a decal** A: I didnt use heat but you can for tight corners . It stretches better with heat.
