Does it light up at all without the LED kit?

lego official site sellng this @ $90, why someone would pay more for this same set?

As of today in 2020, the set is about to be retired. If someone's on the fence about getting it, I'd recommend checking the Lego site and if it's out of stock there, check Target and believe it or not, BestBuy - it was at one I visited on 12/3 for 89.99. And I did NOT buy it. lol But once a set's retired, the availability goes and the only option is a collector with a spare or reseller. And a set like this (licensed, classic nostalgia, pop-culture) is likely to go up to $200 or so by next year. The Disney Castle is a high priced one too but once that's retired (if it isn't already) it'll probably end up over $1,000 and then higher as time passes and scarcity comes in to play.

My wife loved this lego set. As a person who grew up enjoying Disney movies, she adored building it and we had a great time together. It is also a great piece to have in any lego collection.

Muy bonito set. El armado si tiene cierta complejidad sobre todo en el mecanismo de las ruedas. Todos los detalles están excelentes. Solo recomendaría que si es para exhibirlo se coloque en un lugar protegido del polvo, ya que al ser blanco se llena fácilmente de polvo y por la forma de los legos es muy difícil poder removerlo. Hay que limpiarlo constantemente. Se ve que esta diseñado no solo de exhibición sino también para andarlo rodando con suavidad.
